It's such a fairy-tale-alike, where the whole place is full of musical boxes. All type of shapes, materials, music, colours and you can even custom made your own. You can easily spend 2-3 hours just to play around with every single possible musical box.Buy one if you can, definitely worth keeping your favourite musical box!

If you are a fan of music box, it's THE place. An amazing collection varying from simple ornaments to Swiss quality music boxes.

We enjoyed looking at lots of antiques and learned the history about those magnificent machines. The most attractive part of the visit was the performance of those music box (machines). The performance of the pipe organ was very dynamic and powerful while the piano performance was just so entertaining. Be sure to check the schedule for the performances and arrange a visit.

There are many antique pieces of music boxes to see here. If you are lucky to catch one of those demonstrations of antique music boxes or self-playing piano, it is a really mesmerizing experience to watch. The sound of music and movements of the music box parts kept me staring for almost an hour. There are also music box for sell here. However, for those ones that are of fine quality, the store strictly ask you not to touch to box but to have the sales rep demo them to you. The sales are not pushy and can show you to a listening room to try out the music box.

オルゴール自体は珍しいものでは有りませんが、ミュージアムを名乗っているだけにアンティークオルゴールのコレクションが素晴らしいです。エオリアパイプオルガンの演奏も1時間半に1度有りますのでタイミングがよければ聞けますよ。

洋館が多い小樽の街を歩いていると立派な洋館でオルゴール堂2号館と書いてあって、「２号館もあるんやったら1号館もあんの」と何も知らへんまま中へ。中にはほんまに沢山のオルゴールがあって、一つ記念に買おうかと色々見てる時に店員さんと話してたら、このオルゴール堂さん、京都にも2店舗あるんやて。そんなんやったらと結局買わずにお店を出てしまいました。

レトロな建物で、古いオルゴールに囲まれると、１００年ほど前のニューヨークかどこかへタイムスリップしたような気分になります。パイプオルガンは、時間が合えば無料で聞けるそうです。

オルゴールが多数取り揃えてあります。音色もきれいですが、外観もこだわった物が多く、買うのにかなり迷いました。

ミュージアムと本館のはしごをしてください。ミュージアムで古き良き伝統の音楽を聴いた後本館で自分だけのオリジナルオルゴールを購入する楽しみもあります。時間があればのんびりご覧いただけますが、時間がないと立ち寄らないほうがいいかもしれません。時間が過ぎるのがわからないぐらい癒されますので集合時間がある人にはお勧めできません。

堺町通りから抜けて、北一硝子表通りと出会う所がメルヘンな場所。オルゴールなんて…と、思わずに素朴な荘園少女に返ってそのゆっくりとした時代を懐かしむような曲もたくさんある。思い出を一つ拾って帰るには良い場所だと思う！

小樽運河周辺の散策途中に、レンガ造りの『小樽オルゴール堂2号館』を訪れました。建物のレンガ造りと、アーティクな店内に歴史を感じながら、見学をさせていただきました。また、店内では色々な音楽の音色が響き、心が癒されました。特に、店内入った右手のパイプオルガンは、相当古く100年以上の歴史あるオルガンとのことでした。この2号館の入館料は無料で、パイプオルガンの実演もされています。利用した際の同行者： 乳幼児連れ家族旅行

とにかくオルゴールが沢山あります。形、中の曲をいろいろ選べます。家族それぞれ、好きなものを選ぶのに、目移りして凄く迷いました。後、アンティークなものは芸術品の美しさ。見るだけでも圧巻です。

1908年イギリス製パイプオルガンの音楽信号の小さい穴が開けられた専用のロール紙でオルゴール演奏、手動演奏も可能との事。それ以外にオーケストラオルゴール、他2つの演奏が楽しめます。
