Very scenic view! But beware, if you're planning to go there be sure that you are a professional driver. The road going to dicasalarin is only one way and there are so many steep and sharp curves. But once you get to the place, it's wonderful. There are cottages but you have to pay php300 as entrance fee. It's not very ideal to swim there because of high waves and strong current. You will just savor the fresh air and relaxing view.

The place was quite far but it was definitely worth the visit. The beach is just so beautiful and clean.

If you want a more laid-back and relaxing vacation, choose to stay here. They offer accommodation for people who want to do some soul searching. Don't miss the lighthouse and the natural cave.

This is a spectacular place and a must see when you visit Baler... Pristine white sand beach at the base of the mountain where we drove from... a single lane road gently carved in a gradual slope that shows you Balet's majestic beauty..Breath taking is your climb up the hill to the lighthouse... Only our photos will describe how happy we all were!Baler.. God's gift to our family

Nice fine sand beach, though at the time of our visit, it was very cold and very strong waves. Good for photo op :)

One of the highlights of the trip was going to the beautiful meeting /guest house of the owner. The mountain, forrest, and beach were so enchanting and serene.

If you are staying at Costa Pacifica hotel, the entrance fee to the cover is just P100.00, otherwise, you will need to pay P300.00 per head to enter. The cove/beach is nice, but waves are strong (during our visit in December), so it is not possible to swim. You can play at the edge of the waters though. The beach is nice and clean ("white sand"). If you plan on having your lunch at the beach, bring your own food. From the cove you can climb up the famous light house. It can be quite scary at the top though, I was told. The drive to Dicasalarin Cove have some really nice views.

We went there because of the famous light house and the beautiful scenery that is abundant. The most beautiful thing about the area is the view of the mountains and the vast area of the Pacific Ocean. Don't be startled or be bothered by the steepnes and the lengthy travel that awaitys, it's definitely worth the long drive. Note, the waters have a strong current during the December months, but during the summer season, the waters can be swimmed.

Being a private property of Sen. Angara, this secluded attraction is perfect for families or groups who fancy a relaxing and quiet beach experience in Baler but with the complete package of still having an opportunity to surf those huge waves. You just need to pay 300 Php per pax (if walk-in) or 100 Php per pax (if you are staying at Bahia de Baler or Costa Pacifica). The place has cottages, hammocks, picnic tables where you can dine or just relax. There is also available equipment for grilling so you can grill fresh seafood or meat products, etc. There are shower rooms and comfort rooms. You can also take a photo at the Senator's rest house, or order stone oven baked pizza (Longganizza or Hawaiian flavor) and or pancit. I preferred the taste of the Longganizza flavored pizza. We did not order pancit. The pizza is about 12 inches, and has a thin chewy crust. The sand is quite white. You can surf, swim with the big waves or just wade along the rocks by the beach or at the cool river beside the beach. You can also just walk along the beach and climb into the lighthouse (with approximately 180 steps) and get a glimpse of 360 degrees Baler beauty. There is also a lagoon inside a cave below the lighthouse, but the water there is deep so it is advised that you have salva vida or floatation devices before you enter the lagoon. However, due to the sudden and unpredictable surge of the tide, it is usually not advised to go inside the lagoon. If you fancy a more private and quiet experience, go there early so that by 2 or 3 pm, you can now go and explore other attractions in Baler. You need a ride to go here since the road to the cove is private and is only one way. It is also quite narrow and the road is zigzagged.

This is a must-visit place around Baler. It is a private beach and passes are needed to be arranged at Costa Pacifica prior to your trip to the cove. The road down to the cove is not for the faint-hearted, and is a real test for skilled drivers and reliable vehicles. But the beach is worth the trip. It is very secluded, and your privacy is guaranteed. In here you can have your own spot, choose either to relax on the white sand, the wavy waters of the cove, or the cold river waters running down the mountain eventually meeting with the welcoming sea. If you a re a trekker, you can climb up to the lighthouse and get a picturesque view of the cove. Staying here for a day, on your own is truly an experience. It is indeed a place to relax, to meditate, and to commune with nature.

Nice clean beach to swim in. Not a lot of people go so you have the beach all to yourself. The amenities need improvement/can do better. It's roughing it up but worth the extra drive to go to.

We were suppose to go to PAGASA and ended up here. The view from the top of the mountain while going down to the beach is really expectacular. After parking we headed straight to the lighthouse. It was a great exercise and great unusual lighthouse.

Dicasalarin was the finale of our Baler trip. The place was very beautiful with picturesque cliffs overlooking the wide Pacific Ocean, white sand and torquoise blue water comparable to that of Palawan. I enjoyed my time wandering the place despite the unforgiving sun.Instead of renting a van, we ask a local tricycle driver to take us there. The road to the cove is steep and narrow and cannot be accessed by a tricycle. We rode a single motor bike instead.Entrance fee to the place is P300, except for those staying at Costa Pacifica (P100). Entrance fees can also be paid at the gate of Dicasalarin. There is a cave at the bottom of the cliff where the light house stands. It's very inviting. Take a dip.

Good side trip attraction, you are to hire a trike to be able to go to this attraction. However, it is all worth it as you will be given a majestic view of the cove.

We were told that you can only visit this place if billeted at Costa Pacifica and its partners, or as a private guest of former Senator Angara. It was about half an hour away from the main town, and we passed a historic landmark, in honor of those that died in a tsunami some years ago. The trip was well worth it. The views of the cove from afar was enough to get me excited. Upon arrival, we saw that we had the place all to ourselves. Surrounded by beautiful mountains, with a lighthouse (that I did not get to visit,) a small, wooden boat parked on a small river to the side, it was all very rustic. The water was still and calm, as it is in many coves, and was so clear you can see down to your feet underneath. There were small rock formations to one side that appeared to house many a small crab and other life. I hope it never loses it unique charm, and that it remain as untouched by chaos for as long as it can.
