We took our son and 9 of his friends for a birthday party and it went very well. We booked it with play time first and lunch second (there is a breakfast option, but our son thought it wasn't cool at all to have a breakfast party) and it was really well timed. We started at 11 a.m. with 45 minutes of play time, then lunch at 11:45 and they had enough time to finish their credits after lunch. We did the 120 credits for each child and it was just the right amount. They all finished their credits, but no one was done too early. We had parents pick up at 1:00 - perfect amount of time. Lunch was good, but not great. We had the four choices of meal items and opted for pepperoni pizza, chicken fingers, baked nachos and the veggie tray. The pizza and chicken fingers were better than I had expected and the nachos were just about what I thought they would be - mostly plain nachos, really lacking in toppings. The veggie tray was sad, but the boys didn't mind too much. The amount of food was just right. The beverages were a bit of a challenge though - they are bottomless, but they only allow three kinds of soft drinks. The kids ordered while we weren't paying attention and we had fruitopia, orange and root beer without a coke or sprite that some of the other kids would have wanted. It wasn't a huge deal, but after the three flavours, it's $5.49 (or close to that) per pitcher. Not what I was wanting to pay considering the initial outlay for the party itself. We did bring our own cake, so we can't comment on the cakes they serve. There is a server assigned to each party room and she did a great job - you pay as you come in though, not when you eat and we didn't have cash for a tip for her so it meant another transaction. Not a huge deal, just would have been helpful to know.Would also have been helpful to know that the kids can play only some of the games with their cards - there are a good many that require physical tokens. If I had it all to do over again, I would still go there because it was totally mess and stress free, nothing to do but loot bags and cake - both of which they would do if you wanted. I would have picked the 95 credit option and bought some physical tokens for the kids as well so they could play more of the games. All in all, a great birthday party for our son, that he thoroughly enjoyed, which was perfect.

If you are looking for a fun place to take the kids this is it. There is a huge variety of machines many that you not find in most arcades. The best idea is to buy a swipe card and load it up with $20.00 worth of credits as the line up to buy a swipe card is sometimes 10-15 minutes especially on PD days when the school kids are here in droves. The Go carts and the race cars are very popular and you may have to wait in line. I don't think this is a good venue for a birthday party as it is huge and it would be difficult to keep track of everyone - not to mention how expensive it would be to bring 5-10 kids. However for a special treat for your kid and two friends it would be ideal.Forget the food as it is expensive even for just a coke and a slice of pizza. This place never has enough staff and any time you want something be prepared to spend 10 minutes in line. I see that there are all ages here. Even lots of adults seemingly without kids but the kids are around playing different games with their OWN swipe cards. The big attraction for some adults without kids seems to be the pin ball machines to which I have a personal addiction going back to my summer days at the local store at the beach. The scores required to win a free game are reasonable on some machines and simply ridiculous on others. Ironman is my favorite and I can usually win a free game with each play but sometimes they raise the score required to win. Cannot understand this myself because if you can never win a free game the machine loses its attraction.Go there early on a Saturday or Sunday as it really gets busy around 2:00pm. It is also open evenings but avoid Friday night as it is a zoo.The points on your card expire after a certain period of time so its best to use them up on your visit. Forget about trying to win prizes and don't bother to collect the coupons. I have never seen anyone win anything that they really want- just items you can buy for $2.00 in any dollar store. All in all if your kids like playing video games they will love this place. Just put it in the budget when planning a trip as you can spend $50.00 there very quickly.

This place is great just little bit overwhelming for my kids and I. I have 2 younger boys and felt like I had to scream at them just to talk to them Very loud but a lot of fun! My boys played some of the games but not all as there were shooting games I dont feel are for their age. But all in all, we had a fun time

Playdium is kind of expensive, but if you're looking to go once in a blue moon it's fun. You need a lot of tickets to get good prizes, so expect to spend a lot of money and time playing games.

I love going GoCarting with the boys in the winter because of the brush of fresh air and gasoline exhaust rushing in your face. The costs for tuesday and thursday are reasonableI wish they would let you ram into each other, but for safety reasons, they don't. All in all, it's great.

Hyper environment, excitement in air, kids rushing around with hands full of tickets. Time goes by fast there. Good place to go with kids like age 10+. Not real cheap if you go in with 5 kids like I did.

This place is awesome for easily bored tweens and teens. It is hard to collect enough tickets for anything decent, but it is all about playing the game, less about what your coupons might buy. Easy to forget the day and time in this place, a sometimes needed distraction from the daily grind. Playtime, just don't get addicted.

Went with my niece and nephew that had never been to an arcade before. They loved it and thought it was great. Planning on going back again because we didn't use all of our credits the first night.

Great place to hangout with your kids. All ages enjoy all the different games to play. Really good deal on Wednesday nights and Saturday nights with the all you can play card. Definitely a must with teens. Separate card needed for games giving tickets.

Like any of the playroom ticket type places you can spend copious amounts of money for thousands of tickets for a dollar store pen etc... But if you know this going it... Kids have a blast. In addition to the games there are batting cages a ride and go carts ( seasonal) and we go on rainy days and set a budget before we go. There are usually some deal of the day so you get some extra point or a deal if you add the ride etc. wish there was at least one healthy food choice in the small pizza bar ( and more seating ) then again it's a great way to call it a day and leave when it's time to eat. We keep going back.

Took my son and his friend (both 9 yrs old) for a couple hours and they thought it was the greatest thing ever. I think I'm their new hero. While the kids had a great time, dad's wallet did not. Definitely pricey, there were some maintenence problems with some games and the kids blew through their credits so quick, had to buy more. As this will not be a regular thing, as a one off, seeing the kids as happy as they were was worth it in the end.

The teenage boys with us had a blast.. There are lots of games to play which is great for kids, teenage boys and some adults who love video games. The place is filled with games so people don't get bored. But the games are not free so keep that in mind. As for me, a young woman in her 20's, it was not my idea of fun.

They are in need of newer games. It feels like many of the games are from many years ago (a decade or more).More for younger children (10 years old or less). Easy to get tired of this venue in my opinion. It's okay for checking it out once every two years or so.

My 12yr old children loved it here. Collected loads of tickets to buy prizes. Especially enjoyed the outdoor go karts.

Pros!- Located just off Square one mall- Tons of arcade games, simulators, bumper cars, batting cages, air hockey and go karts- Kids can easily be entertained for couple of hours- Plenty of fun for adults as well- The staff are friendly and helpful- Pizza Pizza on siteCons!- The credits required for games are comparatively high- Some arcade games will require extra payment, wont be covered by the credits- Try avoiding purchasing the all you can play card, its $22 any day for 2 hours but are only valid for video games and not ticket dispensing games. Unless all you want to do is play shooting and racing video games- Can get very crowded - Food prices are high, better option would be to hop over to the mallOverall - Good place to take the young ones, try weekdays and make sure you pocket is full
