I usually go there to run. Its clean and quiet. Can also play golf and pitch and put and it has a huge pool thats open only in summers. Oh and also 8 tennis courts.

With the unique hilly terrain and a small lake, it is a great location for picnics and morning walkers. There's enough greenery to rest your eyes and in the wee hours of the morning, you can hear birds as they start their day...TIP: Please try not to put earphones to enjoy the sounds of nature every once in a while ;)

Nice park. Has some decent little trails and quaint little ponds. Decent pitch and put as well. Central Park is a great place to take the kids, go for a walk, or have a bbq.

This is a very nice family park to go watch the squirrels or owls. On nice sunny days, you can sometimes be lucky to spot a couple of turtles on big rocks in middle of the pond, as well as a big toad that looks like it was grown from a scientific experiment. Other days when the pond water is clear closest to the swimming pool you can see the gold fish swimming by in a group. There are a series of back road trails to take and the park is a perfect size. Can't forget to mention watching all the ducks is nature's simplest beauty at it's best.

This is a really nice spot for a walk or a bike ride. A couple small lakes on the south side have plenty of birds including sometimes a large Heron. The rest of the park is full of squirrels and crows. The black and gray squirrels are really cute, but be careful of hand feeding them, one bit my girlfriends finger instead of taking the food OOPS. Its really forested with lots of cute little extras hidden throughout like a children's playground, tennis courts, excersize equipment etc.

This lovely park can be accessed from Patterson Sky Train station. It has walking trails on which there is some modern Gym equipment to exercise on. The park also has a very challenging par 3 pitch and putt course. It isn't as picturesque as the Stanley Park course, but it is larger and more difficult to play. It is a great way of exercising. While visiting, local schools were holding a sports day and I wish I had had a facility like this when I was at school.

Nice place to walk in nature. Lots of paths and nice trees. Great fields for playing. Check out the ducks. Play a round of golf!! Enjoy.

I come here almost every week. One of the best hidden parks in Burnaby. Great for biking, gentle trails around and plenty of activities to do. You can choose to go for miniature golf, outdoor pool, playgrounds for the kids, picnics with family and a stadium around the corner for special events. My only gripe is that this place isn't very safe after hours so do your activities before it gets dark.

Central park has a great par three Pitch & Putt located in the South East corner. It seems to be a little hidden gem as it is hard to find on the Burnaby info sites. Anyway, if you are looking for a perfect way to spend a quiet peaceful day, this is the place. Just like the rest of the park, you will forget all about the outside world when you get onto the course. There are nineteen par three holes with the longest drive of 125 yards. You can rent clubs for a nominal charge of $3.99 with a carrying case or you can bring your own. Really you can get away with a putter and one or two clubs. The charge for adults and seniors is very fair and the price for children goes up to age 18 so you can bring the family for a great outing, note though, you can only have four people per group. They do have a snack machine or you can enjoy the rest of the park with a picnic after the game. The entrance to the parking lot is at the west end of Imperial street and is a little hard to see, so be on the lookout. If you like squirrels, there are plenty waiting for any handouts. Bring the family and bring the camera.

Located just steps from busy intersections between Vancouver and Burnaby, Central Park is truly an urban oasis. Once you enter into the park, the traffic noises are quickly replaced by the noises of little children playing, and ducks and other birds quacking and chirping. Its trails are very forgiving for people who just want to stay in shape rather than put themselves through a sweaty workout; its scenery is beautiful with lots of huge, tall trees that provide great shades even in the hottest summer weather; its small lakes offer children a nice opportunity to witness nature at its work, and it has some nice facilities (swimming pool, children's playground, etc) to complement a very established facility. The only drawback for Central Park is that it is so accessible to the public that it is often quite crowded, especially on weekends and holidays. However, if you want to visit it during a weekday afternoon, you will surely enjoy what it has to offer.

Exellent, I saw someone fed the squirrels but not sure it is allowed or not, nice place to walk and bike!

Great park for picnic, walk, golfing, children's playground. Very centrally located and lots of parking spots. Closer to Swan stadium and a great and safe place to go for morning walks.
