We tried this but it was a long day and to be honest not worth the money Hire a small local boat and enjoy it more
Hi we went on many trips in Dalyan, 12 islands became boring after a couple of hours to be honest, don't regret doing it, but won't do it again, bit like ground hog day after 2 to 3 stop off points
It was our 2013 holiday to Dalyan and we visited 12 Islands during our holiday. It was rather a short visit and we would like to go back for a longer holiday.
we booked 12 islands with tengri travel we were picked up in Dalyan drove to Gocek had a great day out good crew nice food and plenty of stops to swim all in all good value for money
A fantastic day out on a beautiful boat.We did the trip on one of the 12 person Gullets which we booked through the STS travel office in the centre of Dalyan for 110TL per person. ( www.sardestravel.com )The price included hotel pick and a 30 minute return trip to Gocek where the yacht is moored. The day itself was awesome, the yacht was well equipped and spacious and the locations they took us to were fantastic. Make sure you bring your own snorkels and the water is crystal clear and beautifully warm. We motored to several bays and stopped for swims and had a perfect lunch in another. The quality of the food was excellent and there was plenty of it. We also had apple tea, Turkish tea and cookies during the trip. This was all included and the only extra cost was for a beer or wine with your lunch if you fancied it. The day ended beautifully as we did the last leg of the journey back to port under sail .You are then taken back to your hotel on the minibus.A fantastic day out which was one of the highlights of my time in Dalyan. Very highly recommended.
The boats crew couldn't do enough for us. the voyage is from 10am once all aboard until 5/6pm. A good amount of time to soak up the friendly atmos and meet some interesting people. Swimming is great or just lounge around and daydream looking out to sea. We couldn't recommend this trip enough and we should have booked it twice...maybe next visit.
Went with Brilliant Tours (through Thomsons) great days so relaxing, great food, lots of stops for swimming, lovely crew onboard a sensational sailing boat and a very informative funny and friendly english speaking guide
great all day trip, picked up frm hotel and dropped back...mini bus, then the boat trip frm gocek, best boat trip to go on,you are very well looked after, they cater for all your needs, and are very helpful if you cant get about easy, all the staff are great, friendly and funny too, food good also,...a must do trip,so relaxing....
beautiful gulet, good organisation & food. friendly team & cheap. included peaceful sailing time without motor which many dont.
The boat was extremely clean and the food was delicious. I paid a little bit extra for fish, which was well worth it.
Definately worth the money and time..simply fabulous! Worth the extra for a sail boat, small numbers on board, easy going atmosphere and met some great people of all ages.
We went on the Kaptani Adil 1 boat and booked via Kaunos Tours in Dalyan. A lovely day out from Gocek: we booked the luxury yacht - only 12 persons. But I was disappointed that due to the price (£36 pp) all drinks were extra: even ones accompanying lunch. Also it was spoilt for me somewhat due to the fact that smoking was allowed on board and one member of the crew seemed to be chain-smoking as well as a couple of guests. Get into the 21st century..
Trips can be booked through all the agents in Dalyan. Minibus transfer leaves about 9.30 and take 30 mins. Various boats, mainly gullet size sail round the islands making 4/5 stops for swimming/relaxing. Lunch is served onboard. This was one of the most enjoyable trips we did and will go again next year.
Beautiful, comfortable and great lunch. Friendly staff, fabulous sea swimming, plenty of room and clean toilets and deck. No loud music and wonderful interludes when the sails were hoisted and we sailed with just the sound of the sea. Great day and great value.
For anyone visiting Dalyan or the surrounding areas a 12 Island trip is a must. We completed our with friends and a second group from our hotel, via a private charter boat.Sights, sounds and experience from end to end are amazing, you really do feel as though you are a VIP for the day. Well appointed boat, multiple stops in beautiful locations offer you a chance to swim, snorkle and cool off.The food provided on our boat was mind blowing as we all sat around a large table for a very enjoyable meal prepared by the captain and deck hands, drinks at reasonable prices just add to the relaxation. On the water for a full day, but it still felt to have ended much too soon, go on spoile yourselves, your worth it!!!!!!
