Spent a week in this beautiful area in May and hiked around Massif de L'Esterel between Miramar and Cannes - beautiful weather, great little day hikes. All you need is water, a camera, hat, shoes and good friends! Trails are good (not difficult, but not always level), & signage is generally well done. There is one trail that doesn't have a "dead-end" sign until you've gone too far to turn back! We had to hike out through a gated community and rather than scaling a mountain, it was a 10-foot gate! But great fun, great food in the area, gorgeous views! Loved it!

A short drive from Agay and you find yourself in a strange but spectacular landscape. The soil is reddish, the vegetation green, while the sea and the sky merge their surounding blue depths. And it becomes more and more astonishing as you climb the unforgiving, rocky paths, following the very well positioned markings. On top of the mountain, the panorama of the coastline is breathtaking.Just do it! You won't regret it.

Spectacular scenery; impressive red rocks and well-maintained tracks. Some of the waymarking could be improved. Free parking.

You start at the beach, either hiking, biking or running. Soon you'll wash out the hot sun with a breeze as you climb up the steep hills. Up there you'll easily forget that you were at the sea. Magnificent views as you wind through the massif.

A gravel/dirt road accessible from the residential area does several switchbacks to climb the Massif. Even going part of the way up offers panoramic views of Agay, the Bay, and the coastline to the East and West, possibly as far as St. Tropez.

We just visited the "massif" by following the road "corniche d'or" that goes over the sea side allowing to see splendid panoramas, thoroughout the many observation points. both on the "calanques" and towards the mountain. Obviously it was not so easy to reach the sea due to the ripidty of the zone .

Did a couple of great walks to 500m with great views of the coast in the Massif with walking notes Trust them, they are right (we thought we were very lost, but they turned out to be perfectly accurate) from the tourist office in Agay. Taking a proper walking map would have been beneficial, as would an understanding of the coloured route symbols painted on rocks along the way! Views great, terrain varied - forest, scree, easy to almost climbing.

I absolutely loved this visit.Very relaxing. You can lose yourself for miles on the walk trails here. The scenery is so beautiful. I really want to return and watch a sunset here.

We have been driving on both side of the Massif - on the A8 or on the coast road N98. Also across it. Never walked or biked there, but that must be exciting. The Massif is just totally overwhelming and with fantastic views from many, many places along the N98. And there are several small, and not to crowded, beaches, which can be reached from the road if you are willing to climb some stairs to get there. The views to the sea as well as to the landside is worth to go for!

5 minutes drive from Esterel Caravanning is the massif with numerous circular walks ranging from very easy to challenging - walking maps are available from site reception for free. Highly recommended with fantastic views along the riviera.

This is a great place for a walk - even in the height of summer. Just take plenty of water with you. You can experience stunning views, the smell of pine trees in summer, the sound of the cicadas and the rough red rocks contrasting the sky blue and azure of the sky and sea.

Scenery wonderful, weather fantastic and challenging trails for cycling. It was so quiet we felt like we had the whole park to ourselves

Whether walking cycling or climbing this is the place to go. Easily accessible and worth a visit just for the scenery and rock formations.

Estertel Cavan site where we have been going for the last 8 years is a first class site with first class facilities and amenities. The area and coastline around Agay is second to none and with my wife and I coming from the Gower in Wales we can appreciate this, there is plenty to see and do within a 30 mile radius from St Tropez going east to Manaco and Menton to the west.
