Well worth visiting if you are in the area.Nature has created these fantastic rock formations that have been eroded over millions if years.

Interesting place, but I don't think, it is unique. If you have time and don't afraid of a little feet walking, you should visit it.

On our trip to the southern of France we visited this marvelous rock formation nestled in a nice area. Les Orgues are a spectacular view and worth a little bit from your time. If the weather is good( we've been there in April) you can have some nice pictures all around the site.It is a small site but the surroundings are beautiful. The fees are,I think ,around 5 euro per person.

This is an extremely interesting and spectacular rock formation shaped a bit like organ pipes, hence the name. You can walk all around them and view them from different angles - an altogether worthwhile detour.

I believe, other from Turkey, there is no other site in Europe where you can see a similar work of nature.Beautiful, but unfortunately rather a small site. And we had a problem, since we visited Bryce Canyon 17 years ago. Taking this in comparison, these organpipes are minuscule.Well, we were intrigued, went there to see, payed 4,5€ pp, which is a lot for a site that takes max. 1 hour to see. Still, we were happy to have spent our time looking at this.

The rock formations at Les Orgues have been shaped over centuries. Although the site is small there are many outstanding formations to explore and admire. The guidebook is very informative and traces the history of the site over many centuries.

We only went here by chance but are so glad that we did. A short walk up a path opens out onto the most spectacular natural rock formations that have been eroded by time into fascinating shapes. The guide book that comes with the entrance fee comes with the background to the rock formations & it is just incredible to think how old they are & that they are changing all the times. Make some time to see it as you won't be disappointed.

A beautiful geological site.It is well organised with only a short, easy and shaded walk from the reception to the site. You can spend 30-60 minutes here and get some great photos.

Parts of the Orgues are visible from the main road, the N116, and from surrounding villages. For a couple of years I didn't venture to the site itself, but it was well worth the effort. The rock formations are stunning and although the site isn't very large it's easy to spend some time there. The site gives a recommendation of 45 minutes to an hour for a visit, but you may need a bit more. When you pay the entrance fee (currently €4.50) you are given a local 'passport' if you haven't already got one: this gives you a discount at many other local attractions.

This site is worth a detour while you are in the area. The rocks are formed like organs and look amazing especially with the Pyrenees in the background.

The 'Site des Orgues' is a short drive from Perpignan in the Têt valley. The site opens up like an amphitheatre with walls sculpted with large sandstone columns 10 + metres high. The natural process of erosion created an almost ephemeral place that is well worth an hour or so of your time (if for no other reason, because these "chimney" rocks may well be erodes away in your lifetime).

This is an amazing place to visit. A reasonable walk along a mostly sandy path before you reach the actual site of what would have originally been a hill but over many, many years has worn away leaving wonderful shapes. The rock has shaped into what looks like organ pipes or 'fairy chimneys' and 'hoodoos' which are tall pillars with a rocky top. At the ticket office you receive a free guide with numbered points of interest along the route to the Orgues with information about the site itself. A camera is a must along with a drink and reasonably sturdy shoes would be better than sandals.

The Orgues are an amazing sight that deserves to be seen if you happen to be in the area. It's quickly done, and getting there is longer than the Orgues themselves (the dictance between the ticket office and the site is 800m). Photographers would be well advised to take tripods, drinks and a folding seat to make the best of what the site has to offer. Definitely a nice surprise, even though the ticket price is a little bit overboard (4.5€).

Very impressive natural phenomenon! A gentle walk takes you to this area of huge, sandy towers where you could be on an alien planet, waiting to be beamed up to safety.

The "Orgues" are worth a detour when you are in the region. Nearby is the small village with some beautiful promenades and the amazing panoramic view (+500 meters) Força Réal.
