My wife and I went to the market while visiting Belfast and we had a great time. We went on Saturday and the market was in full force. They had great food and a musician playing. The vendors had some awesome this to look at and I would definitely go back.

Had a lovely morning at the market, the variety of stalls were amazing. Enjoyed a lovely breakfast, bought some art work from Foss artist and lots of goodies for the family. Belfast is a really special place.

We've lived in Belfast for nearly five years but have only visited the market a handful of times, something we realise we regret every time we visit and promise to visit more often. The market has a plethora of stalls; from crafts, to jewelry, paintings, butchers, baked goods, fresh fish and vegetables. The food stalls, and the massive range of them, are the true highlight though - everything from paella, crepes, Indian to traditional Irish food. On our last visit we had Cuban sandwiches for lunch and they were truly spectacular. I would definitely say everyone, tourists and locals alike, needs to take a visit to St George's.

Whether you are a local or a visitor St Georges Market is a must see. Markets are held Friday, Saturday and Sunday and I visited the Saturday Market. Great selection of fresh foods mixed with an array of local crafts make it a wonderful experience. Add to that the choice of refreshments available is amazing with a mix of local and international foods and coffees. Oh and before I forget take a seat and listen to great local musicians.

Great place to wander wound. Delight in the range of stuff on show. Especially good for veg, meat, fish, breads, and random snacks for any time of the day. Other craft stuff, clothes and "antiques" a bit zany and expensive, but fun. Highlight was the locally harvested (from the sea) dulce, sold by one of the fish guys and also one of the veg guys. A wee bag costs £1. Very salty and thinly chewy. But full of goodness, I am told.

Came for breakfast enjoyed the view and could see lots of foot places to eat offering a variety of Irish delights. Great place to spend a few hours if your at a loose end or wanting fresh fruit which is there in abundance.

St George's market is a place you should definitely visit, it is full of unique quirky gifts. Beautiful jewellery, glass, books, clothes etc the food is homely and well made. There's a different local band plays each weekend which really sets the atmosphere. perfect for a day out with friends/family or looking a gift or present for yourself

Looks to be a purpose built market hall, has a market every Fri /Sat and Sunday lots of stalls with food to suit every taste, to eat on site or take away, good veg, fish, cheese and meat stalls, together with specialist irish stalls bread, pastries and the like. Lots of bric a brac type stalls but have to say didn't explore these much....due to food !Live music being played in the food area.good for lunch, there is seating and i would think whatever your preference you would find something to suit your taste

We found this market by chance when we stayed in Belfast last year. And return visit here was one of our priorities this time. We love the atmosphere of the venue, which comes from the bustling visitors, the quality of the stalls and the smells of the unique mix of traditional and unusual foods on sale. The vast majority of crafts and goods are good quality and reasonably priced. There's a good selection of one off original goodiesthat make purchases inevitable. The cafes are great and the place isn't crowded. Our favourites are the bread and cake stalls..amazing...so good for a treat to take home for laterWe went on the Sunday and will return on Friday to stock up with pressies for those back home! The market is handy for Belfast Central station. A handy half way stop as you walk into Belfast City Centre. Easily the most enjoyable market to visit in the UK. Don't miss it.

We visit 3-4 times a year - great atmosphere with live music. Great food and craft stalls and a brilliant vinyl music stall - could spend hours wandering around. Would recommend to anyone visiting Belfast - everyone very friendly and helpful - being indoors it does't matter if it rains The only problem is you could spend a fortune - you are tempted by so much variety. I hope to visit again soon!!!

Tons of booths with locally made crafts and gifts, and amazing food. Debated lots of different really busy brunch spots on Sunday, and ended up skipping them to go here - was such a good idea. Had killer breakfast burritos while live music played, and found great non-touristy gifts to bring home to friends and fam!

We visited with friends on a Sunday for the craft market. It was really great, a lot of the stalls are run by the artists and they are happy to chat about their work. There are also plenty of food stalls, ranging from fresh produce to cakes and sweets. There was also alive band who were very good and added to the atmosphere.

Friends and I loved this market! So many things to try and look at ranging from food/drink, crafts, art, shopping and antiques. We all walked away with purchases after spending a good few hours perusing! A must do for those in Belfast, they're indoors so the weather doesn't matter either!
