We went for a 30th birthday and had a fantastic time. We went wine tasting for an hour where Aex explained all about the different wines they produced and the different tastes. She was a brilliant story teller and had everyone fascinated with every word she said. She was so welcoming and the portions were very generous. The place itself is beautiful and if we are ever in the area agin we will be sure to return. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon.

Every season is a delight at Broadfield Court, with the ever changing colours in the garden and surrounding grounds. Even in November the beautiful old fashioned roses were still blooming and smelling gorgeous. The sunset in November was so dramatic and beautiful. The food is top rate too, and there are plenty of gifts to take home for family and friends.

I am very pleased to hear your parents had such an enjoyable time with us and we look forward to welcoming them to the Christmas Fair in a couple of weeks as well as next year to see the David Austen Rose Garden. Thank you for your review. Best wishes Gina Melville

We had a very tasty lunch served by friendly staff. The gardens include a David Austin rose garden as well as a kitchen garden that supplies the café with fresh produce. Interesting history and the café is set in a very old part with original features like a cider press. Very clean toilets! Going around the gardens costs £2 if you have lunch, £3.50 if not. A little on the expensive side all in perhaps but a very nice treat.

Bought as a birthday present by our two daughters - thoughtful and appreciated. Need to book -only 12 people at each wine tasting. Well organised and friendly - knowledge could be improved but the 'sommelier' was new to this business.Lunch was ordered prior to the wine tasting and was very good, along with the service. The buildings are impressive but somewhat higgeldy-pickeldy but in a good way due to various additions in different periods. The gardens could do with a bit more 'tlc' but the focus has clearly been on building up the other areas of the business.Would recommend to others but we wouldn't return - but because we've now 'done it' and it's a 2.5 hour round trip for us.

Wow what a little gem! We bought a groupon voucher for wine tasting as part of a 60th birthday surprise and we are so glad we did! The wine was amazing as were the staff who were so accommodating and friendly. They really couldn't do enough for us. The lunch was also incredible. It was of a very high standard and plentiful! All freshly good and home grown produce! If you are thinking of visiting I would highly recommendThe wine tasting was so much fun and the person leading was knowledgable and friendly! The grounds are beautiful. It was a completely relaxing day. Thanks to the staff and to broadfield court who made my dads 60th really special

Groupon voucher bought for a birthday present, which was excellent value for money. Wonderful performance from our host Alex. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The wines were very good and the food also. Well worth a future visit.

Like many others we came here with a Groupon Voucher for Wine Tasting and lunch. We were greeted in a very friendly manner on arrival by a lady in the cafe who explained what was going on. As we were early we spent a leisurely 45minutes exploring the quaint gardens and vineyard. It was charmingly different from the usual very formal National Trust type of places we are used to and so much better for that! The wine tasting was very informative and relaxed and we even got to try the "bubbly" which was most unexpected. Thanks for that.Afterwards lunch was served outside in what can only be described as an idyllic English summer garden setting. Maybe it was the wine, maybe it was the warm summer's day, maybe it was the friendly and efficient staff, maybe it was the lovely fresh food - whatever it was we had the most enjoyable couple of hours and such excellent value for money.Thank you so much.

We went with friends for a lunch and a wine tasting on a groupon voucher, What a beautiful place to spend a few hours. We walked round the gardens and vineyard before sitting out side in a beautiful setting for the wine tasting and lunch. Alex gave a very interesting and amusing talk regarding the history of the place and the wines. The wines were delicious and so was the food. Would love to visit again in the not too distant future.

I bought a wine tasting voucher on groupon for an anniversary treat for hubbie. Our Sat nav took us straight to our destination and brownfield court was well sign posted. We received a warm welcome and delighted in wandering around the gardens and vineyard. Our host was really knowledgeable not only about the wine but the history of the area with lots of stories to tell. The wine was a great too as was the lunch which came fresh from the gardens. All round a lovely day so much so we've already booked a return visit.

Went with a group of 4 ladies and enjoyed a pleasant lunch and an enjoyable stroll round the garden in the sun.

Whoever wrote this review would they please contact Broadfield Court to discus further. Alex James, the owner and all the staff are very upset by this review which we feel is false and totally untrue. I believe the lunch in question was for 19 ladies served in our Winery Room earlier this week. I personally was constantly checking that everyone was happy, had drinks and could we help in any other way. I cleared the plates for all the courses and asking if everyone had enjoyed their meals and by the sign of almost all plates being clean I would say everyone did. The fruit in the Eton Mess was from our garden and there was definitely more than one strawberry and a few blackberries, we have an abundance of fruit to use. Teas and coffees were served in the garden as requested after the lunch, the price includes refills, which were available. There was no mention of asking to look around the gardens and vineyards and there would not have been a charge if anyone had asked. As you will see from Tripadvisor we have a Certificate of Excellence and I hope anyone who reads this review takes the time to read the other reviews where they will find the truth about Broadfield Court.

Cheryl thank you for your review, I am sorry that you feel that our staff were rude and unhelpful, this is not something we have experienced before as they always go out of their way to help everyone. The previous Groupon offer was on sale for a limited period and the voucher was then valid until the end of April 2014, we extended this to 31st May 2014. This was due to the bad weather we had all experienced and making it difficult for people to get to Broadfield Court to take up the offer. As there still appears to be a number of people who have been unable to redeem their voucher we are in discussion with Groupon so that vouchers with an expiry date of 31st May can still be used. We want everyone to experience what Broadfield Court has to offer. Please call the office and ask for Gina, we can then discuss this further. As you will see from Trip Advisor our reviews are very positive. I look forward to hearing from you.
