I had a 'surprise' Clay Shooting experience run by Michael Coates at the Wild Boar Inn Windermere as part of my 60th birthday celebrations. It was brilliant! Michael explained both the 'theory' and the 'practice' with complete clarity and so everyone in the group (aged 6mths to 60 yrs...) was able to take part ...( well maybe not the 6t math old...) and everyone came away with the satisfaction of having considerable success. We had a half day session which enabled everyone to blast away at the pesky clays with increasing confidence and results.I can thoroughly recommend it as an exciting and entertaining event... and it made the birthday!

Thank you! Shooting more is easy, preston is only 40 minutes away and you also have some fab facilities right on you doorstep ready for you to start shooting regularly. I would love to see you both back up in the beautiful lakes some time soon! Kind regardsMike

Just had a cracking morning clay pigeon shooting in the grounds of The Wildboar Inn just outside of Windemere. Michael knows his stuff and got everyone hitting the targets. If you've got a couple of hours spare in the Lake District I would heartily recommend it.

Went shooting with some friends a couple of weeks ago and it was a great morning out. Many of the group had never shoot before but this was no problem to Michael and his friend who took the time to explain exactly how to do it correctly. A couple of the ladies were even shown to holding the gun with the wrong way (switched from right to left handed). Would recommend even if you have never used a gun before. Not everyone in the group used the guns but we all enjoyed it, some fantastic pictures to remember the day by. Thank you Michael

My wife bought this for us as a surprise present as we were staying overnight in the Wild Boar Inn for which the shooting grounds are attached. Mike is a very welcoming host and looked after us from start to finish. He fully explained the technical aspects of shooting and we had shots at several different angles that the clays were shot from. Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful morning with Mike. True professional and enormous fun too. Can only agree with all the other reviews and cannot wait for another chance to have fun with a gun! He goes the extra mile for his clients and made our family feel very special.

Spent the day with Mike clay pigeon shooting at the wild boar inn. So very patient and excellent tuition for my son, so much so, my wife had a go after, and she didn't want to do it all!It's a great venue, really impressive equipment and set up. Great Clay Pigeon Shooting with Mike up at the Wild Boar Inn. Can't recommend Mike enough!! Mike's got a wealth of knowledge about all aspects of Clay Pigeon Shooting. Honed in some of my techniques today and had a great laugh, the snow topped it off. The site for yhe Clay Pigeon Shoot in the woods at the Wild Boar In is great as well.
