The last performance we attended here was a tribute to the Eagles. It was a fun evening out with friends as we had a table on the lawn. We brought our own dinner and danced and sang the night away.

The Quinlan Visual Arts center is a complete Non profit 501-C3 charitable organization. Very light and open, there is plenty of room to admire the artists work from all angles. They are equipped with a conference room and a well stocked gift store featuring the artwork of local artists. They hold fund raisers twice a year and make it a point to offer a fine array of emerging talented artisans. They host classes, summer camp, sell art supplies, hold workshops and parties, offer pottery and girl scout badges. It won't take long to take it all in but it is a lovely stop on the historical Green Street among the antebellum houses on the edge of the grounds of Brenau college.

We have lived in the area for almost 10 years. Never knew about the Quinian Ctr. We were actually referred to it by an artist we ran into in one of the Jackson Wyoming galleries. He learned we were from Ga and asked if we had ever visited the Art Ctr in Gainesville. We looked pretty puzzled, and made a mental note to check it out as soon as we got home. Great surprise. Nice building, with rotating artist. So, satisfying your taste in art pretty much depends upon the Artist being displayed at that point in time. So even if you live in metro Atlanta, it's definitely worth the drive up.

interesting collection and three featured artists. Sponsored children's art camp in the Summer, a gracious staff and fun for kids. Kids camp is five star, but the gallery is similar to most I have seen..

The Quinlan is truly a must see for any art lover who comes to the area. They attract excellent traveling shows as well as having wonderful local art. You would be amazed at the quantity of quality artists in this North Georgia area. Currently the Members Show is displaying but it followed a truly excellent watercolor show that had a couple of local artists showing in the wing areas. Their gift shop is full of lovely things made locally for the most part. Definitely worth the trip for art lovers.

This is a wonderful small art museum. We loved it. They need more wall space to divide up one large room. If they could use dividers it would be more interesting. Seemed wasted space, but what they hung was truly inspiring.
