Paid for my daughter to skate then was told that she had to remain in center circle of floor because she used the roller stand because more older teens were coming in. No more were on the floor then what there was and i didnt pay for her to skate in a small area. I could have left her at home on my kitchen floor instead.and if the smaller kids were in the middle rhen the older ones should have stayed out if that area. It doesnt matter if the younger kids use the stand or not, there will always be someone slower on the floor. The older kids were passing a stand back and forth spinning circles and actually run over a five yr old boy. But this was condoned by management because she was a teenager too. Will never return there again and have reconsidered buying the comet skates and birthday party for mt daughter in may.

We visited Fun World on a Sunday afternoon just to have something to do indoors because it was so cold. The set up has changed considerably since I was there last. We went for the roller skating and had a blast! Our group of 5 varied in age from 7 yrs old to 42 years old and we all had something to do. Our plan was to stay 2 hours and we ended up staying 3 1/2! I thought it was a great value, I think we spent around $75 total while we were there and that included snacks and drinks.Overall great time, and I would recommend to anyone.

We were up in NC visiting for the holidays and took the kids here on a Rainy day. What a great place. Stuff for all ages and kids are 14 & 11. We played for over 3 hours for $25 a person. Very nice staff and clean and bathrooms were super clean. Will revisit next November during our stay!!!!

My husband and I take our two grandkids here when they visit us. Many activities offered. Highly recomended if you have children.

My kids loved it here, we stayed for hours. The foam factory section was entertaining for the whole family. In response to previous reviews: the prices are normal- very comparable to any other family fun center, the music gets louder on the skating rink in the evening which is expected on a weekend night. I enjoyed the music and didn't think it was too loud. They do sell pizza and other foods. Overall it was a fun time!

Diversity of play that caters to different age groups of children. A little expensive.

The post above mine nailed it. This place used to be awesome, now they've gotten rid of the go carts, mini golf, batting range, laser tag, and a whole slew of arcade games. They've gotten rid of all that and put in a roller skating rink with blaring music. Not to mention, they don't have prizes anymore, so you don't get tickets from any of the machines. I used to love to play the basketball shooting games because it was fun and I could rack up on tickets and get a prize. Now it doesn't even give you tickets, so what's the incentive to play? If I wanted to just shoot basketball for 1 minute at a time, I would have just stayed home. That's not all. The kids running the place (didn't see an adult worker there at all) were uninterested, unhelpful, and unfriendly. About midway through our stay, the power went off in the building. When it came back on, several of the arcade games didn't boot up correctly. There was never any action taken by the workers. They didn't go to see if the games were working correctly, they never made an announcement to come get your money back if you were in the middle of playing a game, nothing. They totally ignored it.There were also at least 3 games I tried BEFORE the power outage that didn't work. They looked fine, but when you swipe your card- nothing. One even took my money. I used to go here every year. I've been coming for several years. This year I was sorely disappointed, and I will never be back. If you're looking for something comparable to the old Fun World, go to the Fun Factory in Franklin, NC. It's a drive but well worth it.

The grandkids love this place. We usually stay for about 7 hours. I gave them a choise of someplace else a couple days later or go back and they were jumping up & down to go back. They love it! (8 yrs, 12 yrs & 16 yrs old)

Too many attractions crammed under too small a structure. It should be a bit more spread out.

The owners ruined this place. It used to actually be fun. They had laser tag, a rock climbing wall, go karts, batting cages and putt putt golf. Now? All that fun is GONE. They took all that stuff out in order to put in a skating rink. So now, Fun World is a skating rink with a few boring video games, most of them not working. They still have the big blow up slide and Toddler Town but that's it. We were there last weekend for a birthday party. The birthday parties used to be a pretty good value but those, too, have been ruined. For $100/10 kids you get 1 hour in the party room (we were rushed out), a tiny portion of vanilla ice cream, 1 hour video game play (boring), and a skate rental OR a pass to Toddler Town. Not worth it, folks. Especially when you consider that for the same price, birthday parties used to come with TWO hour play, including the laser tag and all the things I mentioned above, pizza, drinks, cake, etc. We did buy pizza as an add on to the package. It was the worst pizza I think I've ever had and at $12, a rip off. Also, the music for the skating rink was mindblowingly loud. I can understand if it was ONLY a skating rink but it's not. There is other, though ho hum, stuff going on. There was a guy working in the skate rental area who was incredibly rude and unfriendly to the kids. He kept a smirk on his face and basically ignored everyone until as long as possible. This is Fun World people, if you can't deal with kids, perhaps a new job is in order. In fact, this rudeness of Fun World employees has been an ongoing thing over the many times we've visited there. My kids were very disappointed that there were no go karts, no rock climbing, no laser tag, nothing. We won't return to Fun World. I've told everyone I know to go to Fun Factory in Franklin, NC instead. They still have all the actual FUN stuff.
