Loved it loved it loved it. Spent 3 months here and already booked for next year. Even if you are not a golfer just walking around resort of an evening was wonderful. Have many many crafts to do. Huge pool and great hot tub. Pizza on Friday night is very tasty.

We have been very pleased with Cocopah. We stayed the winter of 2012/13 and found the staff pleasant and accommodating certainly a reflection of managements style. The fees are reasonable and quite creative. The park exceeds our needs with a 2 acre doggie park, a large pool and a well equipped gym. We do not golf but apparently it is adequate and the dogs are kept well away from the golfing areas. With 24 years of RV'ing we can judge pretty much what to expect from a park and this one gets an "A".

As young "snow birds" we have felt very blessed to be able to travel. We homeschool our two children and decided to travel this area in 2011. We pull our brand new modest trailer down with our two kids ages 2 and 10 and begin our first month of holidays at this establishment. We felt the grounds were ok. However the problem was with the staff. We are very friendly and keep to ourselves. We are active, enjoying hiking, swimming and biking. We are neat and tidy and dress modestly. We aren't drinkers and act respectfully. About two weeks into our 1 month stay here the office staff appraoches us as we are in our trailer. She tells us our toys outside are very messy. I step outside with her and ask her how as the 3 toys we had were neatly tucked under the trailer. She goes on to tell me that living ina trailer is no life for our children. I said excuse me..She siad what kind of life are you giving these kids. I almost cried. I said a great one I thought. If we were home we'd be in -40 weather stuck in our house. As rumour had it we were from Texas instead of Canada which our plates clearly say. We live in our trailer and don't have a house. Your judging me. I am a a Assistant Mayor where I live and also self employed.I home school my children and am a leader at my church! I did report her to the office. Nothing was ever done about this problem. The neighbours had all seemed to know about this rumour. They were people like me travelling in their trailers. I am not sure how this thing started but we have never felt so unwanted in our lives. The people that stayed at this park also felt some sort of pride or entitlement to be on this cramped space. The monthly electric bill was also $140 and we hardly ran our a.c So I didn't even argue that one. Just paid it. However, we are blessed. Today we own our on vacation house in Mesa, Az. We are blessed!

If you like rows and rows of park models with very average spaces for RV's then this is the place for you. They certainly have something going for themselves because the park was near full but I don't see what the attraction is. There are hundreds of these boring, repetitive parks all throughout Arizona. Been there done that! No thanks!

This casino is minutes from the Mexican boarder. It has a large parking area and conference center. Much nicer than it's sister casino Paradise which the same tribe owns. Spacious inside areas.hotel registration area has a seating areas of couches and there is also a small museum inside the casino .

Our stay at the Resort was awesome. The residents are friendly and fun, the grounds and pool very well managed. It was great riding the park in a golf cart. Lots and lots to do for those who do not want to sit in front of the t.v. all day. The office staff is totally incompetent. After a short while there, you realize if you need information or help, you just ask another resident. Any one you speak to will advise you kindly to save yourself the frustration and not ask the office. Even over the phone prior to us going to the resort, we received NO help from the office. They are pleasant enough, just sadly inept. We will return, but have to work thru the other residents we met in order to find suitable accommodations.

I liked that the greens were kept beautiful, that care was taken with shrubs, that the pool was large and the bathrooms were immaculate. There was no freeway noise. There was nothing I disliked.

no pro at this golf course now, they are just cutting and cutting back on important things at this park, its sad as the management thinks this is o.k. and could care less it seems, also not much happening in other areas that they usually have. grill hrs. are much later too, so if you want to eat, then play as we used to do, thats no more either. NOT good choices.

The course was in great shape when I visited in April 2012. They work on it a lot and care about the condition. The fees are Great in the off season (summer). It's only $20 for 18 holes and cart rental. The folks at the pro shop are friendly and helpful. Just a couple miles from town.

We stayed 6 days at the resort in March with family and had a great time. The resort is very clean and well maintained. Our family winters there very year and love the park and I can see why. The golf course is in excellent shape. The pool is clean and quite large. The grounds are beautiful and the weather is perfect. We are looking forward to going back next year.

While the sites at Cocopah RV & Golf resort are of generous size, you may very well end up with your neighbor’s rig right at your doorstep due to the location of the sewer connections. This facility requires a minimum of 2, 15 foot sewer hoses in order to connect to the sewage system, and sometimes 3 depending on the location of your sewer connection. They fail to tell you this when you register, and if you show up with only one, they will site you all the way to the rear of the site, which then places you at your neighbor’s doorstep. We are now into mid March, when most of the parks occupants start to head home, and there are a significant number of open spaces within the park. In my opinion, because we complained to the manager about the placement of RV’s so nearby our RV because of the parks failure to notify them of the hose length problem, most RV’s now coming into the park are placed next to us, and backed up as far as they can be. When the latest one came in today, and I complained to the park escort about how far back it was parked, I was told that some people request specific sites. I asked the folks who were placed in the site if they had requested that specific site, and was told that they did not. The park appears to be very reluctant to add this info to their website, for whatever reason. I also had a problem with a water connection at my site that I brought to the attention of the parks maintenance staff when we first arrived on late November. There was a significant leak from the compression fitting that connected the main line to the hose riser. The maintenance staff informed me that they would have to shut down the whole row in order to fix the leak, so instead, simply twisted the connection until the leak stopped. This worked fine until one day in January when I was disconnecting my water line in order to install the hose to flush my holding tanks. The line immediately separated I was forced to hold the copper line to the compression fitting until I could get my wife’s attention so she could bring a pair of channel lock pliers in order for me to fix the line. Numerous calls were made to the security staff, who told me that no one was available to fix the problem until the next day. If I hadn’t had the ability to fix this problem myself, there would have been quite a few sites flooded out due to the broken main line. The next morning, I finally had to call the security office because no one had showed up at my site to fix the leak. I was told that the message had not been passed on to the maintenance staff, but they would do it immediately, which they did, and the problem was solved quickly and correctly. There appears to be a great deal of politics played at this park, which we have been coming to since 2001. Rules are ignored if it is convenient. More prominent people are given preferential treatment, etc. The manager appears to be more of a used car salesman than a comprehensive, knowledgeable, in command leader, and simply stonewalls complaints in hopes that they just go away. While my wife and I have enjoyed our winter visits to Yuma for many years, each year at Cocopah RV & Golf Resort appears to be a step backwards in both customer service and amenities, and because of this, we will never be returning here again.

We just checked out about a dozen RV parks in Yuma with snowbirding in mind. Cocopah topped them all. It is very quiet and pet friendly. Located on th West outskirt of town it is surrounded by agriculture and the Colorado River not trains, planes (military base) the interstate or frontage roads. The pet section of the park includes a 2.5 acre grass pet run manicured like a fairway. Residents and staff were quite helpful and friendly, but not pushy. We were so impressed we are buying a park model there although we have a few years left before we can retire.

We stayed here with a group of friends, we all have dogs, we were put in the section with all rv's who had dogs. We went to dinner one night came home and there was a note taped to the door from security that our dog barked, Our friends had the same thing happen. The next night our friends had four notes from different neighbors that were very rude and offensive, I would never stay there again. Also too many rules.

We spent 5 years at this resort and it was a nice place to be to play golf. However, after 3 years, things changed and not for the better. A chosen few could break any rule they wished, including the 10 year rule on unfit RVs. Loud drunken parties and abusive neighbors changed our entire attitude for this park. If you are a Canadian or a wannabe, this is the place for you because management supports these kinds of behavior..

When we arrived we were kept waiting in the lobby for at least 15 minutes while they decided to let us in. As it turns out they have a policy that you can't stay there if your moterhome is more than 10 years old. My husband was on the phone with them 3 times prier to making the reservation and not once was this policy mentioned. The only reason they let us stay was because they had already charged our credit card and didn't want to refund our money. in the cantina there is a sign on the wall that says something to the effect of "come in & have a drink & a good time but leave your complaints about the park at the door" which makes me think that they get a lot of complaints. The other campers that we talked to were very nice and made us feel welcome. They even enclose a piece of paper in with their welcome pkg. that says "Due to the number of guests that make reservations and then cancel part of their stay after they arrive, we no longer give refunds for any reason". It makes me wonder why so people cancel after they arrive. Well now I know. I would never stay here again.
