My gf and I attended the Buckingham's performance on February 13th. I had gone back and forth with our seats and finally settled on balcony/center. They ended up to be excellent seats AND actually after looking around, there isn't a bad seat in this theater! The sound was awesome too!! (Spotlight guy had some troubles...but other than that, flawless!) What an awesome piece of history to still be able to enjoy!

I don't get a chance to visit the Woodstock Opera House as often as I'd like, but whenever I do, I am NEVER disappointed. The plays, old standards, dramas, comedies and other acts performed there are entertaining and, from this spectators point of view, flawless. Along with locally produced plays they also bring in national acts that are varied and well performed. Several well known actors have gotten their start here and it was featured in the movie Groundhog Day" with Bill Murray. If you are in the area, give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

We love the plays - we have 4 season tickets so we can bring friends with us as well. It's affordable for entire families and the acts are wonderfully varied. Plays, music, storytelling.... When looking for something to do, look here first!

Excellent example of an historical live theater experience. Productions are always done well and can compete with the Chicago Theater scene easily!

Leo Kottke's annual performance never disappoints. There's not a bad seat in the house, and the acoustics are wonderful.

No matter what we see here, it is always done with class, and the variety of programming is awesome.

Stop in and take a tour, it is not very often that you get to see a historic structure maintained with such attention to detail. Open most weekdays and you can walk through to see the place for free. Just beautiful.

I was surprised that they let people into the auditorium. Has a carillon, and overall the square is pretty decent with a wide variety of shops, complete with a Starbucks.

Beautiful gem in downtown Woodstock. Exceptional architecture and history. They have an annual Mozart Festival. Well organized and features first class world renowned soloist, conductors, and orchestra. It is worth the trip in July and August for this annual music festival.

The Woodstock Opera House is a treasure in our community. It originally served as a town hall, library and fire station. Today it is a performing arts center, filled with musical events, plays and lectures. It looks out at the beautiful square in the downtown district and surrounding restaurants and shops.

We have gone to The Woodstock Opera House a number of times over the years and have seen music and plays performed. We tend to enjoy the music more than the plays, but both are fun to go and see once in a while. Being a small venue in a small town they do a great job with what they have to work with. If you do decide to go, stop at The Stage Left, (part of the Opera House), and have a drink and listen to some nice music by some very talented locals before, or after, going to your play or concert.

The Opera House has been used in a number of commercials and is a focal point in the movie "Groundhog Day". Wonderful programs and a beautiful building.

you should not miss a night at the Woodstock Opera House and a night at the theater where you could see a play, a musical, or listen to music, from classic, to country to rock, etc. and have a fun day or night out. Visit the Opera house for it's history, and who have played here, even for its Goast, etc. And you may remember seeing the place in the movie "Ground hog day, that was shot in downtown Woodstock. And at Christmas go back in time when the square becomes a Victorine Christmas scene with house carriages, a Santa's Hut on the Square, and a Santa to visit and help others all in front of the Old Woodstock Opera House.

This is a wonderful, restored and revitalized theatrical gem. Local companies, national performers, musicals, Mozart Festival......... the list goes on and on. I's lovely, comfortable and a resource like no other in this part of the country. Be sure to go. Positioned on the historic Woodstock Square, it's in walking distance from restaurants, book store, coffee, art gallery, chocolate shop, gifts, and shops galore.

An excellent small venue auditorium. Very intimate setting in an historic building. This is a great place to see plays or musicians. There is a lot of history associated with this building.
