Unfortunately my review is tainted by the first person we came in contact with at Champion. The person who unloaded our clubs was rude and gruff. I can only guess he expected a bigger tip. We gave him 2 dollars to put our clubs in the cart because that is all we had in small bills. Regardless, a tip is optional for recognition of good service. But instead, I was made to feel tipping was required before and after golfing for putting our clubs on the cart and then taking it off.course was okay. Little firm but I am told Florida courses are like that. Nice varied layout.

The course is generally in good shape. Over the years it has had its ups and downs with management and maintenance. They seem to be on the right track now. Summertime rates can be a little higher than competitors but I like the course. Some very challenging holes. many holes surrounded by wetlands and preservers. JJ

I'm a local in Stuart, Florida and have played at the champions club multiple times over the last year and I have had exceptional customer service by all employees. The course had amazing greens, and even though the course might play more difficult than some of the others in the area, I have had an absolute blast each time I played. They always have great deals even in season with their email club. I now consider it my home course.

I, and my fellow golf league members of the NUTs, have been playing at the Champions Club regularly every week for the past 4 years. I come on non-league days just to practice and have lunch in the high caliber restaurant. The course offers a great challenge for all skill levels from the pros to high handicappers like me. It is always in great shape and the superintendent continues to provide superb playing conditions. The management and staff treat us like country club members without the country club prices. It is a super friendly environment with top notch service. We enjoy the 19th hole as much as the golfing fun. There is always some nature to see with the preserve surroundings. Birds of all kinds native to this area are plentiful. Deer prance across the fairways. There is an occasional alligator seen swimming in search of errant water balls. David Ladd's Golf Academy headquartered here provides excellent instruction from a proven tour player and has helped my game improve and let me enjoy the game even more. I would highly recommend the Champions Club to anyone visiting the area as part of a golf trip. Or to anyone just wanting a great golf outing. Jack Wayda

Great staff and great manager. Perfect for a bite and a drinks after 18 on the green. Definitely a nice spot. If it only made my golf game better

This course was in great shape...very busy course for the weekend before New Year's, but the pace of play was very good...a good challenge

I play and practice at this course regularly. It is, by far, the most resonably priced and best quality course in the area. It surprises me that other courses in the area are more crowded with poor quality greens. Pros John Paul and tour winner David Ladd are great. I credit David Ladd with helping me go from a 20 handicap to 9 at the age of 62. CHECK IT OUT! Capt Bob

The course was maintained, but we did not like the greens. It was like putting on concrete. It was hard to keep the ball on the greens when hitting approach shots. Pricing and value are better at other courses in the area. You sign up for email 'specials' on their website and pricing wound up being the same as newspaper coupons, a mere $6 off. Can do better elsewhere.

Very fair for Florida. Hazards are avoidable so it's a lot more fun than many of the Florida courses.. Interesting holes and great greens.

Well designed course, challenging but fair. Great greens and all-around conditions. Plus they have a nice skins game on Mondays...

I have played here about 20 times in the last year. I enjoy playing here because the pace of play is usually good. There has been a rare occasion when there was slow play but hey that can happen anywhere. The greens are very fast and firm. The layout is challenging but fair. It would be nice if they offered breakfast items in the lounge but otherwise I have no complaints. The food is adequate and the service is good. On most days there is a refreshment cart but if there isn't one there will be a sign on the front door. During the summer season this place is deserted. A nice place to play if you are looking to play sub 4 hour rounds.

We enjoy the golf course. Sandwich shop is minimal - a decent hot dog. Maybe there is breakfast? The beer is cold. Not much else to say about the cafe. It's ok when convenient before or after golf. The cafe is not a destination.

This is a really nice course in the Treasure Coast area that we highly recommend. The rates are reasonable (sign up as an e-member and you get better rates) and the course is a great alternative (it reminds us a bit of the PGA courses in Port St. Lucie). The staff is great and the course was in fantastic shape.
