Be sure to visit during Columbus Day weekend, and enjoy the Italian Festival, parade, food, Bocce Ball, accordians playing, fresh pizzelles, Mmmmm.

Unique area to walk around and go into different kinds of shops. Kind of artsy fartsy. My young grandkids even enjoyed it. We had ice cream at Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream (the most different ice cream shop I have ever been to). They have interesting flavors.

Short North, as the name implies, is also home to many of the Art Galleries. But it is much more than that. It is a very unique part of Columbus, and while downtown biz district largely rolls up the sidewalks around 6pm, the Short North, with its combo of great restaurants bars, galleries and unique shops always is a good bet.

A few friends and I went for gallery hop and had a great time! I love that all the shops are privately owned and have a lot of character. Great atmosphere and good times had by all!

Craft beer, tatoos, great food and art. I love going to the Short North when I need something to do. The people are def. hipsters, gay friendly and down to earth. Located on the edge of Downtown Columbus, there is a free Cbus from other areas of the city.

What started as a once a month gallery hop has morphed into the place to go for a night on the town, or to shop for fine art, to shop, or just to walk and see and be seen. No matter what time of day or what your goal, the short north is always the place to go.

We recently went on a nice cold Saturday afternoon for a special Christmas visit. The shops were welcoming and not pushy. A great place to look for gifts or decorating your home. Some great clothes too. Then of course some great lunch with some local brews of course. There is a lot to choose from, but that day we ate at The Short North Pint House. The food was good and all ages were inside enjoying the vibe.

So much to do! I needed more than a weekend to experience. Something for everyone, even if you just want to browse.

Wonderful neighborhood filled with original art and galleries, unique shops, restaurants, bars, street performers, live music...and great people watching especially during the monthly Gallery Hop. Have been visiting for years and will continue to return!

Nice area whether you are looking to shop or eat. I wish I had had more time to explore. Lots of restaurants and interesting retail and art shops. Walking distance from the Arena District.

My husband & I stumbled on this place 30 years ago. Local artist have many works available there from jewelry, wood works, and beautiful hand blown, one of a kind Christmas ornaments. Each year we make a trip there for ornaments for each of our family members which always look forward to receiving them..

Home to Jeni's Ice Cream (a must stop) and super cute and interesting local shops. I purchased many gifts on my walk around Short North. I think I spent just under two hours before my flight but probably could have spent a few more to really take advantage of this awesome area. Unique and quirky stationary, gifts, fair-traded goods from around the world, art for show, cool clothing boutiques, excellent dining choices- it's all here! Make sure to pop your head in the each small shop you pass to make sure you get the full experience!

This area is filled with great restaurants and different stores and art galleries. If you want the full experience go to gallery hop. The first Saturday of every month is an event in the short north called gallery hop. There's lots of people and entertainment and the atmosphere is really cool.

I'm not much of a shopper but I liked walking around this area with its eclectic shops, restaurants and bars. There was a good mix of trendy shops and unfussy older stores. The District is primarily on one street and it's easy to navigate. Touring it on foot is the way to go.

The Short North is Cbus's "hip" place to hang out as far as I'm concerned. Great restaurants, bars and local peeps. Good night to go? Glad you asked..First Saturday's of the month Gallery Hop!
