We finally made time this year to see the Mob Museum and was not disappointed at all. Just be prepared to stay a few hours. There are 3 floors of interesting pictures and many other things to see. They also have a nice gift shop. We were in there for three hours. Also you are allowed to take as many pictures as you want.

Was a very well layed out sight. Worth the price of admission if your interested in the working of the mob in pre glitz Vegas. You start at the top floor an work your way down with a lot of interesting information along the way..

If you find yourself down town and have either been to LV before and want something different to do, or its raining or even maybe too hot this will fit the bill. Very spread out, over 3 floors, it is interesting but too much to read for me. Interesting insight into the Mob. It is part of LV history, I think it just about stops short of glamourizing the era. It is very factual with lots of faces to see, artefacts and films. Like the free photo op behind the one way screen with a prison number and the machine gun set up so you can get an idea of what it would be like to use one!An easy walk from any of the main down town hotels. I found a voucher on line for $2 each off price. If you are very interested in the Mob or just want to get your moneys worth you will ne at least 2 hours to read all the info.

The museum is a great way to spend a few hours. It's interactive and interesting, and doesn't bore the history. It was a shame that a few of the exhibits were out of order. The staff were helpful and friendly and pointed right way clearly. There was some cool stuff in the gift shop too.

Being originally from Chicago, my daughter and I thought this would be a pretty cool museum. It was a little pricier than we expected, and a little hard to find walking. The building it's housed in was pretty cool, an old post office I believe..but many of the displays were somewhat bland, I guess I would say. A lot of standing and reading. Much of the material was kind of the same old stuff, although I do have to say that we have probably seen more Mob memorabilia than most folks. They do have a few cool interactive items, and the actual wall from the St. Valentines Day Massacre was kind of cool to see...We were maybe expecting the exhibits to be presented in a more interesting, interactive way, and also thought there would be more info on the Mob and their relationship to Vegas. If you like this kind of stuff, it's worth seeing, but I think most kids would be bored to death.

Well organised museum which covers both the history of Las Vegas and the Mob involvement. I did think that $22 was pretty expensive .. But everything in Vegas seems about that price. This is good for adults and older children, but there is not much to entertain small ones. You need to stop, read and study the exhibits, which include artefacts and lots of old pictures. I found it fascinating. Will take up 90mins to 2 hours.

This was a very comprehensive review of the Mafia and associated fractions from the early 20th century. Lots of detail, pictures and artefacts from back in the day, including newspaper cuttings and mock video trials as well as film clips and thousands of photographs. It is well worth a visit, and a very reasonable price for the location. I guess lessons won't be learned.

What a fabulous museum! We loved it - it is full of so much information, photos, interactive displays, etc. They also have some short movies to compliment what you are seeing. GIve yourself at least an hour if not more. Whomever created the museum did an outstanding job. Well worth a visit!!

This was a much bigger exhibit that we expected. spent 2 hours, but could have done at least another hour. We ran out of time as we only planned to spend an hour or so. We Highly recommend it. Lots of historical data on organized crime and crime prevention.

The Mob Museum is a comprehensive, fascinating history of the mob and how it shaped the nation. It is multiple floors of terrific exhibits, short films, interactive displays and memorabilia. It is artistically brilliant. We spent two hours here but could have spent much more time if it weren't for the fact that they were closing for the day. If you are law enforcement, you get a discount on your ticket. The free Vegas flyers and guides that are all over the city have a $2 off coupon in them, too. There is a $5 parking lot right next to the museum, or you can park in one of the nearby casino parking lots for free. It's located in downtown Vegas, so there is lots to do in the area before and after you visit the museum. This museum is not appropriate for children due to the subject matter and graphic photos.

Went here on a November weekday, It was $5 to park, and $21 to get in. If you hunt around on line you can usually find a $1-$2 discount code if you buy on line. You could probably park at one of the nearby casinos, and save the parking fee as well. Museum is basically a self guided tour of the multi-story building which was at one time a court house. There are tons of items on display, including an electric chair and a section of the wall from the "Valentines Day Massacre". There are several stations showing 5 minute films on several subjects that continuously repeat. Museum tells the story of famous mobsters such as Bugsy Siegel, Al Capone, Lucky Luciano, John Gotti, etc. as well as the law enforcement personalities involved. No shortage of interesting items to see, read about, etc. There are some graphic displays that carry warnings in case you have young children. I got through the place in 2 hours, and saw probably 95% of what there is to see as there were no crowds. If the place was crowded and you wanted to see everything there was to see you could easily spend 3 hours there. If I was in town with somebody that wanted to go I would go back. Very informative... There is a gift shop on your way out.

Located in the old court house downtown, this was a great way to spend a rainy/chilly Sunday afternoon. 3 floors of varied, interesting exhibits can easily enthrall for 2 to 3 hours. We were a bit dubious about going, but so very glad we did! There is a $2.00 per ticket discount on the Yelp app.

So I'm not one who generally likes museums, but this one was very captivating. All the stories, photographs ,videos, and exhibits made for a fascinating few hours. I didn't even have time to see everything there was to see. This museum contains a lot of fairly recent history that is on a topic one doesn't hear much truth about. Entirely a different view of the mob than seen in the movie My Blue Heaven. I do believe that the museum really gets to some truth about the mob, and it is much different and much more troubling than I thought. Be prepared to learn about some folks that you wouldn't want to meet.

We walked from the Venetian to the Mob Museum (about an hour +) and what a great museum. Very interesting, some pics a bit gory if you are sensitive but very well laid out and informative with videos showing telling you the story of vegas mobsters and more. Recommend :-)
