州政府旁边的一大块绿地,种有很多硕大的古树,很是壮观,旁边的路上停车倒是很便宜1小时才1美元,可以在绿地上四处走走寻找拍摄州政府大楼的最佳角度

We had a tree planted here in memory of our mother. It is fun to visit and watch the growth of the tree (a beautiful magnolia). Beautiful peace rose garden. Lots of memorials and huge trees. Wonderful place really.

It seems as if every county could plant some plants in this lush garden, so you meet everything from redwood to orange trees

its large and carved out of the urban center of town, but its trees given wonderful shade for picnics; a nap on a warm afternoon; or a brisk stroll at dawn. Running is a bit more of a challenge, but it can still be done safely and easy to avoid other pedestrians.

Wonderful history and incredible variety of trees. We ate oranges straight from the trees that line the sidewalks. Bring quarters for the meters, and don't miss out on the Civil War Union Veterans Memorial Grove.

Although we were there on a chilly, foggy day, we took the walk down the mall and enjoyed the statues, plantings, and most especially the Vietnam Memorial. Definitely worth the time.

Capitol Park offers something for everything. There is history - a tree from the moon, veterans memorials, squirrels, trees, benches, rose garden. Its a huge park, with lots to see. In the warmer months, probably best, but beautiful year round.

The park around the California Capitol in Sacramento is very pretty with different botanical areas. One of our favorite times to go is during Christmas when the Christmas tree is up and nicely decorated. We parked at a a parking garage nearby ($1.50 for 40 minutes time which is more th an enough time to park, and walk, and go get a nice look at the tree.)

Left the hotel, try walk laps! Saw some white tents! I know any state that the town has Capitol Building, there usually something happening! Yes, it was the tribute to the people of nine eleven (September 11, 2001)! Was wearing that day an Uncle Sam hat, shirt with American Eagle saluting, wearing Uncle Sam hat, says WELCOME HOME USA TROOPS (I made), blue sweat pants with white stripes, two pockets! Many people whenever I wear this pants, any patriotic shirt, sometimes say I look like the flag! Yes I stayed for the tribute! Just like any funeral, there the sadness! We remember and never forget! So then maybe 2:00 p.m. go back to Sheraton! Paul Amaro of Ace Parking say, "Are you going to get your snacks? That area looks empty!" Really, people at the hotel seem know my actions, but really? He trying send me get snacks! Ah well, I hesitant but I do! Again, we remember and never forget! Never went into the building itself! Mainly just to participate in the tribute

A quiet cool place at the end of a long & tiring day. A beautiful setting for the Capitol building.........................

The park is full of well established trees, many unusual specimens and most are labeled. The perimeter is one mile so it is the standard state worker workout. Nearly everyday there is a demonstration or exhibition going on. The police patrol on horseback and are happy to stop to chat about their steads. Overall a great place for people watching, relaxing or exercising.

Beautiful park with many impressive monuments. Beautiful trees and a lovely rosary too. Cute squirrels. You can walk through the park in 30 minutes or spant as many hours as you like on a Sonny day. Well worthy of your visit.

It is always fun to walk around the Capitol building and grounds. As other reviewers noted, there are many species of trees most with labels to identify them. There are me rials throughout the park as well. I have gone to the rose garden when it is in full bloom and taken photos there. The Park has a succulent area at the corner opposite from the Rose garden. There can almost always be some kind of event happening at different sides of the Capitol building. The building exterior is photogenic as well. Come in December and see the Tree lighting ceremony which usually has many ornaments made by individuals who are intellectually challenged.
