A large, comfortable, acoustically excellent concert hall. Actually, two concert halls, on the lower level a large hall for symphony, ballet, etc. Upstairs a smaller hall for chamber music. It has the added advantages of a parking garage attached and it is across the street from the excellent restaurant, Wild Ginger if you do not wish to eat on the premises or its own dining room is fully booked

The absolute right venue to enjoy the timeless classical masterpieces or some of the more modern concerts. Benaroya Hall has something for every taste in music or arts. We saw Mozart's great masterpieces and it didn't disappoint. The dress code is relaxed, you won't see a lot of black tie attires. Parking can be around $18-25 in the Hall's parkade, but if you drive a block in every direction there are lots of parkades that charge $8-10 for the night. You could try parking on the street, which btw is free after 8PM. For me personally , after 10 min of driving around for a spot on the street, I gave up and paid the $8 across the street, literally.

We went to see the Men's Chorus Christmas program. What a crack-up. Not only was the music very well done, and the antics very humorous, but I couldn't help marvel at the acoustics. The seats are staggered and sloped enough that you don't have to be part goat to get to your seats. All had a great view. There were many retirement community buses waiting outside, and seniors inside because it is a very mobility accessible building. Bravo to the architect, builders and management team.

Benaroya Hall combines modern engineering with traditional symphony hall charm. Acoustics ensure each seat enjoys the same hi fidelity sound. Great location near hotels and Seattle Art Museum.

This gorgeous hall has perfect acoustics--there's not a bad seat in the house. Even the back row of the top balcony offers a great experience for a modest fee.

It's a symphony hall that also books artists like Bonnie Raitt and Jackson Browne. The wood design is just beautiful. Very classy. If you like Thai food, the Wild Ginger is just across the street. They have onsite parking for $12 that sells out. Japonessa is around the corner and has a great happy hour. Try the plum wine!

It's a beautiful hall! Great atmosphere, I felt so classy while I was there. There were places to get drinks and snacks before the concert as well which was wonderful. But if you visit I would suggest dressing up a bit.

Love Benaroya Hall for listening to classical music performances. Also have seen some amazing shows of jazz artists. The ambience is great.

We enjoyed Beethoven 9th symphony by Seattle Symphony here. Truly outstanding! Acoustic was excellent. At the end the entire audience stood up to applause. Very moving. Many people dressed up nicely to attend the concert. We really enjoyed the whole evening.

Just an amazing place to see a performance - you won't be disappointed - loved the James Bond symphony I saw there - perfect venue for Seattle

Attended the President's Own Marine Band at Benaroya. As a music teacher that went to school in Seattle, it would have made sense for me to go to Benaroya at some point...but this was my first time. Acoustically this hall is outstanding - legend has it that the sound in every single seat sounds the same due to the architecture. I sat with a group of my band students on the right side of the hall and it was outstanding. The performance was free - but there are consistently high quality performances happening there all year long. It is a truly beautiful location for experiencing music.

Easy walk from our hotel. Approach it from University St. which is less steep than Seneca. Two eating establishments just outside the lobby make a convenient place to eat before the event.

Had the pleasure last night of attending the annual Christmas concert of the Seattle Men's Chorus in celebration of gay and straight harmony at Benaroya Hall in downtown Seattle. Parking was conveniently located under the venue and events management was efficient and fast. The foyer of the Hall was festively decorated and bustling but we received lots of assistance finding our seats. The seats were pleasantly comfortable and leg room was reasonable, even for someone of my bulk. The theater is well lit, esthetically pleasing and the acoustics and lighting are excellent. There isn't a bad sight-line in the house. The concert comprised a mix of old classics, newly-composed pieces and comedic relief from a small dance group called Smartypants. Getting back to parking and out of the building was a bit of a wait because of crowd size but the experience was well worth the wait. If you get a chance, take in a performance at the Hall.

This isn't the ornate, gold covered building of antiquity that I'm used to in large cities. Instead it's a very modern building with nice seating. We've been to two events here. I wouldn't recommend the 2nd Tier seating (we had no leg room and had to turn our heads sideways to see the stage), but try to stay down in Orchestra.

Phenomenal Acoustics; functional, simple, and delightful interior architecture. I have been going since it opened and have listened to a variety of musical genres (Classical, Modern Classical, Jazz, Traditional, and Pop; to name a few), and in most cases, the hall has greatly enhanced the experience. If you live in Seattle and haven't been to a concert there; you need to go and enjoy one of the most beautiful things in your city...
