I play here each week and am continuously impressed with this venue. It is well maintained, has a great professional staff and is a challenge to all golf abilities. Most of all it is the best golf value in Washington. And I don't want to leave out that they have very good food. Their breakfast, as well as lunch wraps, are delicious and you would be hard-pressed to find comparable food at most golf courses.

Lake Padden Golf Course is about 35 years old I would say and provides exceptional value & conditioning considering it is city owned. Green fees for seniors are about $24. The course can easily be walked if you are in decent shape. The course set-up is such that on a normal day when it is not too busy (and this course gets lots of play) and pace of play maintained, you will rarely be in contact with the groups in front or or following you. This is an old school design in a forest setting. In a word, serene. The course plays out at about 6100 yards from the grays (whites). Not a high degree of difficulty as fairways wide and water not an issue.

Despite the rain we worked our way through the puddles and savvy lay out. Definitely a must do course if in the area. Golf management is the call for this course. Be subtle and you'll have a great round. Tough to believe this is a public course. We also had a great experience in the cafe after our game. Best crispy chicken sandwich ever. Friends had the club house and couldn't finish it.

This was the last of four muni courses that we played in Washington and by far the best and favorite. Could not believe it was a muni but the green fees don't lie...very affordable. Beautiful scenery, course in great condition, a blend of various park-type trees and majestic woodland evergreens, lots of wide fairways, water hazards that did not come into play, manageable traps...all-in-all a very playable and fun course. To top it off the weather was gorgeous and the Pro Shop guys and the Starter were friendly. Fantastic day on the most beautiful course. Shot my typical mid-90's game but that's okay. Would play it again in a heartbeat.

The putting greens were perfect, the balls were free, and the husbands were drinking. It was a lovely 9 holes for the ladies.

Lake padden golf course is a great 18 hole championship course. Price is excellent as well. They have a putting green, chipping area and separate driving range.

Very enjoyable and challenging, well conditioned golf course for a very reasonable price ($36.00) on a July weekend.Well worth playing this little beauty of a golf course.

Lake Padden Golf Course is one of the State's best municipal tracks. There has been a dramatic change in course conditions and playability the past 5 years with a new management team and course superintendent. Excellent value!

Wide fairways, very forgiving for a beginner like me. Only my fourth time doing a full 18 holes and I actually was able to keep my drives on the fairways. Beautiful course

Lake Padden golf course is the best value for your money in Washington state. I have played this course many times over the past 5 years and it is always in excellent condition. Played a week ago and the outing was outstanding. Great service from the pro shop and the price for seniors is unbeatable. The fairways and the greens were in terrific shape - a real fun outing. Do not miss this course if you are playing in the area!!

I have played Padden 5-7 times over the past couple years, most recently in early August 2012. Each time I play it I am continually amazed at the beauty of the course, the condition of the fairways and greens and customer service. At a prime time weekend rack rate of around $35.00, its a steal. This past August was no exception and the course met with my usual high expectations - lots of interesting holes with lots of trees, creating lots of options. My goal is to play it in the fall when the leaves start changing as I think it would only enhance the beauty of the course. Hope to return soon.
