We made reservation to ride the train in advance (the weather wasn't suppose to snow when we made reservations) and when time came to the ride, since we travel out of state (the roads were terrible, no travel advisory) they wouldn't accommodate us at all! They were still going to charge us even though we couldn't get there!!!!! They wouldn't even give us a voucher for another time or anything. That's definitely not any way to treat customers especially since the rides aren't cheap. Oh, and don't bother calling to talk to anybody because no one will answer or give you a call back when you leave a voice mail.

You are correct...the Holiday Express is going on right now until Christmas.

Must see for all ages. Took this round trip ride and enjoyed every minute of the narration and scenery. The trip is 1 hour each way and we did a several hour layover before our return trip. Plenty of free parking. There is a railroad museum there also which charges a small admission fee which is well worth it.

During the off-season, there are several special events that add something a little extra to the ride such as the Holiday Express going on now for kids of ages.
