possumwood acres wildlife sanctuary

An awesome place and amazing people! They took us on a guided tour and were very knowledgeable. My 1 1/2 son loved seeing all the animals up close and being able to touch them.

After supporting Possumwood Acres through local fundraisers, I finally had a chance to visit. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly and it's obvious they love the animals and birds entrusted to their care. The layout of the facility and grounds is designed to be as close as possible to a natural habitat, making the release process much easier for the animals. I also had the chance to meet several of their permanent residents. That experience was so uplifting I returned with a family member. She found the sanctuary to be as impressive as I did, and we look forward to many return visits.If you want to give your children a fun and educational experience, or if you simply love wildlife, take the time to tour this wonderful facility. You'll be glad you did!

I came with a friend to lend a hand. they had owls, hawks, goats possums, turtles squirrels, and a ton of baby birds they were feeding every 20 min. i don't know how these girls did it, hardest job. This place kicks butt, they have so many cool animals that need help.
