Kidscommons is a place to take the kids if it's raining. In my opinion, not all that interesting, so I wouldn't think this place would attract many repeat guests. A much more developed children's museum type of place with many more activities for kids would be Wonderlab in Bloomington.

We visited KidsCommon over the weekend and while my daughter liked it my husband and I weren't really too impressed. We spent about an hour and a half here and we did have fun, but I think it's a bit pricey. Or at least I don't think the parents should have to pay to get into the place. Most of the parents are just walking around after their children and they have to pay $6 each? For a family of three that's not a horrible price I know but parents are paying $6 to just stand. That being said the activities my daughter liked the most were the bubble room, the house with the large toilet and the mini basketball hoops. It was a nice way to spend an hour with family I just wish it would have been cheaper, maybe charge less for the parents, who aren't doing anything??

This is a very unique indoor play park right in the middle of downtown and across the street from the kid's museum. The terrific, unique climbing structure is awesome. Take your kids there. They will love it.

First off, this is nothing like the Children's Museum in Indianapolis. I had to just put that in my kids' heads before we left because that is what they think a museum for kids is. The museum is a two and a half stories of mostly science related exhibits and a rock climbing wall. The museum is settled into a very old historic building. It's $6.00 to get in a $3 to rock climb, but they get four times to climb, which is very reasonable. Everything is very interactive and the kids enjoyed the trip. There is a craft area, an area where you can design your own city, an indoor playhouse complete with giant toilet slide and a fit living/get healthy area on the top floor with several fun activities. It's on the small side, but they pack a lot of fun, interactive things for kids.

While a bit small, they packed a lot into the space. My kids loved the mock-up of a Japanese house that allowed them to play the part. The kids also enjoyed the robotic arm, bubble room, HUGE toilet, creative stations, and basketball hoops. For $6 (or $4, if you print an online coupon), it's not a bad deal & buys you 2-3 hours of kid time, depending on how curious your tots are. Definitely for younger children (pre-teen at the oldest).

Spent 1 hour there with my 2 & 4 yr. old grandson's. There is not a whole lot to do there. They are young so it doesn't take much to entertain them. Very Very small museum and it is not really worth the $6.00 a person they charge. Visitor Center web site has $2.00 off coupons. Not sure there would be much for older children to do.

Great Experience for Children under 10. Lots to see and do, very interactive. The Giant Toilet was a huge laugh for kids to play in, great photo opportunities. The rock wall was tons of fun and the melting crayon art was fun for adults too.

Kidscommons is a great place to take kids 10 and under to play and learn. And when you're done, Zaharako's is right next door for some delicious ice cream or lunch!

I took a 12, 10 and 7 year old, they all liked it, especially the rock climbing. The 2 older ones liked the electrical room, but all three got bored after an hour.

My family (4 kids...1,5,7,9) has visited several times since we live very close by. It's not a huge place, and you can play with everything in a few hours - which can be perfect - just don't expect it to be an all day event. I mean - where else can your kids slide down a giant toilet bowl? Although, the bubble lab is the favorite for my kids.If you want to fill up some more time in downtown Columbus after kidscommons, go across the street to the (free) indoor playground at the Commons Mall - the climbing structure is HUGE - and then treat yourself to some great atmosphere at the ice cream shop Zaharakos down the block to round out the afternoon!

Great little children's museum located downtown in Columbus. Fun for kids and parents/grandparents. Lots to do. Fun exhibits and activities. Slide down a giant toilet! Close to Great ice cream placed called Zaharako's and to the Commons Mall which has a giant playscape for kids! It is great to be a kid in Columbus

We were heading back to the Indy area from Louisville and decided to stop after we saw reviews on trip advisor. It was a lot of fun. It's not super huge but it has a lot to offer for the kiddos. Our girls r 11 and 12 and they still loved it. Only $6 to get in. Can't beat that. The indoor rock climbing wall was nice bonus! We spent about an hour and a half there.
