It is always a pleasure to visit Albanese! Their selection is the best to be found. They offer a multitude of chocolates, chocolate covered, gummy, hard candies, and old time penny candy favorites. The staff is cheerful and helpful. Whatever your preference is, you should be able to find it at Albanese.

Like the cute little concept and great candy. Huge Pecan turtles are worth the splurge and gummies are good. A quick stop maybe 20 minutes or so.

It's a great stop for anyone with a sweet tooth. It can be crowded so try to go in off-peak times. The candy is fresh and delicious, esp the gummies. Buy as little or as much of each type as you want, but I dare you to leave empty handed!

So glad this candy factory is close by! Their gummies are so soft and flavorful! I routinely buy them as gifts for family and coworkers. I get many complements on the gifts. They also do tours and have chocolates and old school candies.

I took my 5 year old grandson to visit this on our visit to Indiana Dunes this past summer. The look of awe in his eyes as we entered the candy showroom was fantastic. He had a shopping basket and bought everyone he knew a "surprise" We loved it.

We have been here several times and love going. It's not an attraction, but actually a candy store with many varieties of candy. Reminds me of a Willy Wonka movie. bright colors, fun atmosphere and every kind of candy you can imagine. The best part is that you are allowed to taste test the candies prior to purchasing. They have every type of gummy bear that you could think of, along with chocolates of all kinds. They have a lot of candy that you can't find anywhere else. I saw some of the candies that my mom used to buy during the holidays that I have not seen in years, brought back some good memories. The ladies behind the counter are always nice and don't mind if you do a lot of taste testing. Some of the candies are pricey, for example for the chocolate blueberry candy the price is $9.99 per pound. But we never buy a pound of anything here, we buy a little bit of what we want. I only bought a quarter pound of the blueberry candy and it was a $2.90. They have more reasonably priced candies and more expensive candies as well. But again, you do not have to buy a pound. Sometimes we buy 1/4 pound or half a pound. You can also just tell them how many pieces you want to buy, that way it's not too expensive. It's fun to taste test and to take a little bit home with you. If you are anywhere near the Albanese Candy Factory it is well worth a side trip.

There's not much to see as far as an attraction, you can look into the factory through a glass viewing area. If you are there with the factory not working, as we were, there's even less to see. The real attractionis the Albanese Candy Factory Store Outlet where you can get a wide variety of candy at very reasonable prices.

Located 3 miles off Hwy 65 in northern Indiana, this is a cool place to stop for candy and chocolates. It's not a destination, but a quick side trip if you have time. They allow you to sample all of their candy, which is quit reasonably priced, especially the factory rejects.

This is a fun place to go because you are surrounded by all kinds of candy, but I go for the gummy bears and worms. Because they are the largest maker and they make them on-site, the gummies are fresh and amazing. Here's a tip: when you walk in the door there are boxes of 6 pound bags of discounted gummies, which they say are mistakes. I don't know what that means because they are fabulous and cheap! They also have lots of candy they sell by the pound, including the gummies in all kinds of flavors, and packaged candy too. I found the packaged candy to be pricey, but there are lots of choices - even of my old childhood favorites. This is a great place to take kids, but be prepared to spend.

This is a fun place to visit and they have a HUGE selection of candy to purchase. They also have fun "old - time" candy selections like candy cigars/cigaretts, and DOTS. They also have a good selection of sugar free candy and loads of Jelly Bellys! It is a fun place to visit. They also have gifts you can buy and they are known for the production of gummy bears that are shipped worldwide.

The Albanese candy factory creates a Willy Wonka experience for a quick stop to the world's largest factory making gummy bears and lots of other candies! The house on the front of the factory reminds me of the shops at Disney at the end of the rides or attractions. You know they are getting your wallet but they make you happy. The 'house' is actually a store that is filled with an amazing assortment of candy--including lots of sugar free offerings--and features a self guided tour most of the year but has Santa on hand during the holidays. If you are nostalgic for a lost brand of candy, they probably have it. Weird flavors of gummis? they've got that too. Be careful, the sugar in the air will make you crazy and you'll spend a lot of dough before you know it! Check inside the door for some great specials though...always good buys there and usually a free sample too.

The Chocolate fountain was a delightful treat, it looked like something straight out of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. So many different types of candy to choose from, just amazing. I was a little disappointed that the factory viewing was closed when I was there, oh well, an excuse to visit again I suppose :)

I love this place. If you like gummy bears, you will be in Heaven. This place makes gummy bears on site and they are so fresh. Their chocolate is also amazing. When you walk in, they normally have a person to greet you and offer you a sample. I had a chocolate covered cinnamon gummi bear and it melted in my mouth with amazingness. I have not had one bad tasting piece of candy from there. It is rather small in there, so you might avoid the busy times and try to hit it at an off time. The workers are all very friendly. Enjoy!!

We stopped in Mid-October on a Sunday and the location was very busy. The staff were excellent. My 4 yr old wanted to try everything, and we picked a few. If we wanted to try a pc of candy, there was never any hesitation, the staff were happy to let us try them. The gummies were his favorite and the chocolate covered espresso biscotti were mine. The store was very clean as well. This will become a definite stop when we are traveling.

These gummies are so soft and delicious! They have so many flavors to choose from! Mix your favorite flavors or just choose one. They also have a great selection of chocolates and old school candies. Great gifts for every holiday!!
