Challenging fishing, but there is good trout in there. Kids had fun! It's also a good area to hike since it's easy terrain.

We've walked the trails here several times and really enjoy the views. Various spots offer benches and picnic tables to rest, snack or just sit and enjoy nature. We actually like hiking when the trails are snow covered. This way the roots and rocks that protrude on the trails are covered over And less chance to trip. There's also charcoal grills and a pavilion for picnic goers. A port a potty is also located near the parking lot.

Perfect for family with kids. Do the red creek side hike to the waterfalls. It's just enough of a hike. Older families will enjoy the more challenging trails as well as continuing on

Nice walk along the River that goes from one parking area to another. The terrain isn't difficult, but watch if there has been rain recently-- it will be muddy. Nice picnic area in one parking area.

Nice very easy 1 hour walk along TOBYHANNA CREEK. Fishing is Ok, small scenic water fall near end of the trail. Wear good sneakers or hiking boots. two parking areas, lower has Pavilion with picnic tables. No restrooms!

On Route 115 just south of 940 is a hidden treat of nature. Wear good hiking shoes and bring a water bottle if you want to explore the entire place. The conifers at the southern parking lot welcome you to this natural treat.

Beautiful little area along the river. There are several miles of trails. I would recommend good hiking shoes and bug spray for hot/humid days. You must bring your own food and drinks. One parking area has a pavilion and outdoor grills. The only down side is that there is only a port-a-potty.

Come for a picnic at the many tables in the open or in the pavilion then take a relatively easy hike through the woods. Enjoy the tall pines, the rushing water and other nature. In the spring, look closely at the short waterfall and you may see the river trout attempting to jump up the falls and swim upstream to spawn.I would rate the hike easy though there are a few areas where you'll need to cross small streams or muddy areas using log stumps that have been placed together as a sort of 'bridge'. When wet they can be a little slippery and some have shifted and are a little lopsided making it a bit of a challenge to get across without slipping. You can do the loop or come back the same way you came. There is an information board with a trail map posted at the beginning of the trail and there are trail markings along the way as well.Overall it's just a place to enjoy a leisurely walk, listen to the sounds of the water, birds and other small woodland animals and get back to nature.***Please remember to take your trash with you and keep this natural area natural. Thanks!
