Husband and I came specifically to visit the Dick Winters display. We were not disappointed. It was very well done. Of particular delight was a video of Maj. Winters' coomments on the filming of the Band of Brothers mini-series scene by scene. Wonderful. The other areas of the museum were being re-worked for new displays. It is s charmingly small museum with roots deep in the history of our country.

We are not from the Hershey area, but we found this to be a nice little local history museum. We came for the Major Dick Winters exhibit and, since we visited at Christmas time, the model train exhibit. There is no actual admission, but be sure to make a donation. If there is no parking available out front, just drive down the small hill to go around back and enter through the back entrance.

Been here a couple of times and they have a ton of items to see, especially if you remember Band of Brothers as they have Richard Winters' personal items on display. Worth the visit! They accept donations.

Small museum but always worth revisits. I hope someday the Maj Richard Winters films will be open captioned for the deaf.

A great find for local history including Hershey Park, Hershey Chocolate, Milton Hershey School and the development of Derry Township.A very exciting addition is the late Maj. Dick Winters exhibit, the central figure in HBO's Band of Brothers. Admission is free although donations are appreciated. Not over commercialized.

They have lots of interesting displays here, from hockey, to law enforcement to Hershey Park, to the most famous portion, the Band of Brothers section. Dick Winters lived in the area and donated a lot of his personal stuff, including a whole corner of his basement, walls and all, to the historical society. His comments on the scenes of Band of Brothers are worth the visit alone. I bet most people don't know the connection, or that Winters stuff is even there. It is worth a trip if you are in the area.

We have been here a few times now and it never disappoints. The displays are great including some of Mr. Hershey's personal items. The staff is friendly and helpful. I have found a few things in the gift shop I would've never found anywhere else.

Please spend a few minutes visiting this museum. If you are interested in Major Winters, from Band of Brother's and WWII fame, here you'll find his personal effects. They've re-created his office from his home.

Wonderful artifacts in this place tucked behind the outlets in Hershey. They have artifacts not only from the fctory and the park but from the old Arena, park pool and from some some of the old and kong gone businesses they have many reminders of Hershey used to be like when it had so much charm, especially the buildings like the Old soda fountain drug store and hershey department store.there are many pieces from the old Pennsylvania Dutch Days that bring back lots of memories.Around Christmas they have a neat train display, and they have Trolley things all year around.Admission is free.they run prograns that are educational througout the year and some bus trips. They have a good gift shop too.Very educational and you feel good -full of sentiment and good memories when you leave.

very helpful volunteers. The museum has several displays and is especially interesting at the Holiday season; across from the outlets
