frankenmuth river place shops

On good weather days this is a wonderful place to spend a few hours or longer visiting various artisans and specialty shops. There are shops for serious shoppers and there are shops for those who enjoy unique artistic creations. There are places to sit and enjoy the day and visit with friends. If you are traveling thru Frankenmuth, it is worth stopping in even if you only have a short time -- well worth it!

River place is one of my favorite stops in Frankenmuth. They have a lot of really cool cute boutique type stores. My must sees are: sugar high bakery, here comes treble and the Michigan shop.

Riverplace is a great way to do some shopping and take a walk. The landscaping is very nice and they have a wide variety of shops. There is a pub for adults and a game room for kids. My favorite is the popcorn shop and also at the cupcake place I get chocolate covered bacon, Also you can jump on the river boat cruise and relax. I fish the river there a lot. If you take the cruise and you see a guy fishing on the west side and sitting in a chair say " Hi Jim "

River Place is our first stop entering Frankenmuth. Lots of parking and a short walk into town. Perfect place to park when there are festivals in town.Quant speciality shops throughout the complex.Bead Haven is an outstanding bead store. Well stocked and organized. Staff are extremely helpful. Classes are provided for all levels of beaders. Make a bracelet on the spot or get help with a project.

We loved this shopping area as it is so beautiful with the flowers and the unique shops. I really enjoyed the delicious cupcakes. I bought some unique gifts from the music store as well. It is very enjoyable to shop these stores.

Go Evey year my birthday weekend great food great shops outlet malls are amazing love it will continue to go great family tradition . Trust mevif you have never been there go fudge is so good made right in front of you taffy shop is great and love the country store also pandora shop just opened love love love

I loved walking thru all the unique shops and it kept my kids well entertained. We liked the chocolate covered bacon and of course all the delicious cupcakes from the bake shop. Also enjoyed the river boat & our stay at the local waterpark hotels.

I always love coming here. The stores always have such unique items, and you can definitely catch some good deals. If you are a Perks member, your card is good at many locations. Can't wait to go back...may just have to do that during Snowfest!

Super cute shops but most of the store merchandise does not accurately reflect Frankenmuth's German heritage and could be found in a tourist area anywhere. Very picturesque area to enjoy walking around.

We had such a great experience. The first time we went with the whole family for my mom & dad's 50th anniversary. We had 15 adults and kids and everyone of us had fun, fun, fun for the Western Saloon theme picture! I took the immediate family and our dogs back the following week for a Pirate Christmas card picture. They were so patient with us and got some amazing fun pictures. Thank you very much! We will definitely go back again!

While there are the usual t-shirt and fashion shops, jewelry, etc., I like the oddball stuff --kids bounce house, olive oil, crepes, walk up bar, kids game room, used books, old timephotos, Irish themed, dogs and cats, river boat rides, horse carriage, and more. Europeanthemed architecture in a circle setting -- easy to walk, lots of parking. Give it a whirl ...

Fun are to go shopping in Frankenmuth and nice are to walk around. Just a few different specialty shops.

Don't visit if your hungry - you could eat your way from one end to the other with great stuff. The popcorn, chocolates, crepes, all were tempting. Nice game room to drop the kids off at.

Who ever heard that if you want to get more than one type of ice cream there is an additional charge? It is listed no where on their signs just the price for additional scoops. Feel that the girl behind the counter was lazy and just didn't want to scoop a variety.

Our family visited the Old Time Photo shop in the River Place a few weeks ago. The man and woman working there were excellent, fun, and professional. They assisted us in choosing a background and related clothing, helped us get quickly into garb and took about 15 pics of different poses. We were able to look through the digital photos on a screen to choose the ones we wanted. Prints were instantly made of those choices and we were on our way. We appreciate efficient and professional service and that is exactly what we got here. Thanks for a fun time -- our children love the pics!
