Drove 45 min to get here while the kids were on fall break. BIG MISTAKE. The website says that on weekdays there are mostly school tours but you are more than welcome to pay the fee and join a tour or just do a self tour. Not true. Joining a tour was NOT an option. We paid $21.00 to look at a few chickens and some horses. Not impressed. We could not do the corn maze, we could not do the hay ride, there was absolutely nothing else to do. You would think that as the kids have fall break from school or as Halloween got closer they would have more things to do on days other than Saturday and Sunday. We were there on a Friday. In addition we did pay our "barn fee" to see the animals the minute we got there. We received wrist bands to ensure we had paid. Since it was chilly and we had on long sleeves and they couldn't see our wristbands, we were stopped 2x within 30 min telling us we had to pay the fee to look at the animals. Like our $20 was going to bankrupt them if we didn't pay it. I did check out the weekend prices. I could see it getting VERY expensive to do anything. It was $5 to do the corn maze, another fee to look at the animals, another fee for the hayride to the pumpkin patch plus the cost of a pumpkin, there was a fee for absolutely everything. We will never go back.

Highly recommend an outing here, it is very easy to access. Here are some pointers. If you have any challenged walkers in your party then drop off at the enteance and then go park, it is uphill and rocky. Mothers of infants: please put a hat on your babies or bring a sunshade! The hay ride to the pumpkin patch is short but worth the ticket price unless you are a hayride connoisseur. The tractor driver was a friendly gentleman. The pumpkin patch is a bit austere but worth experiencing. Pick out a pumpkin, but expect to pay quite a bit more than a big box store pumpkin. We got several at a grocery store but got one at the Farm for the experience. Whatever you decide about the pumpkin, don't leave without getting some apples. The apples were the best we have had in years, very crisp, natural tasting, and juicy. And the price is very comparable! Use a wheelbarrow to carry goods to your car.

We enjoyed shopping here. Homemade Amish food products, very clean and upkept. You have to tree the fried apple fritters. Best time to visit is late summer and fall.

This was a very average farm that did not cost for entry, that was nice, but not much to see. Rides and attrations on the farm where cheaper than Carolyn's Farm. I suggest this location and it is close to Fort Leavenworth.

Gorgeous farm --unfortunately everywhere you look there are "don't climb, don't touch, don't sit" The lady selling the pumpkins was friendly but the store help was mean.My 10 yr old niece touched a bread mix product and was jumped on loudly by the clerk "don't touch that." You would have thought she was a toddler heading for breakable items or something. We won't be back. Strange for a kid venue to be so un-kid friendly.

Excellent time at the Red Barn Farm. Great food, homemade items and best of all the fried apple fritters. YUMMY!!!

I absolutely loved Weston Red Barn Farm! I am so glad that I stopped here while I was on business in Missouri. Best Western in Platte City recommended I check it out, and I am so glad I did. What a beautiful Farm.

The owners here are the most hospitable people in Missouri! Aside from falling in love with the gorgeous rolling landscape...and the picturesque red barn itself... The farm provides delicious produce and an impressive variety of colored pumpkins (during the Fall months). It is an excellent, educational opportunity for families or people of all ages to enjoy a satisfying experience of farm life itself. They also provide as hospitable hosts, should you inquire about wedding venues or party/gathering locations. The locale is true quality.

We went to the Red Barn Farm in 2011 and were disappointed because we missed the time to pick apples. We made sure to get there the first weekend of apple picking season this time and were so happy. The kids enjoyed eating the apples right off of the tree. The pumpkins are fun to see the massive piles and the atmosphere is relaxing. I recommend everyone in the KC area visit at least once a year in the fall.

Beautiful setting, lots of animals, u-pick pumpkins (or for purchase), apples (sometimes u-pick based on the season) country items (if that's your thing). We always stop here when we're in Weston.
