TCU is very well thought of and rated one of the top universities in the country.  Very expensive but offer great scholorships.GO FROGS

My daughter and I attended Monday at TCU and learned so much about the college. It is now her first choice for colleges!

Not knowing anything of their academics, it was a nice campus to walk around. It was very active, seemed like a great atmosphere. And the bar scene was real close!

Be careful with this Big 12 contender, they have come a long way and very likely to win a NCAA footbal title, go Frogs

Drove around and through the campus. Well kept and modern campus. It appears to be like most large spread out campus.A real visit should take place when the students are on campus and there are activities going on. Only activity the date of our drive on campus was a TCU basketball game and a few people walking to the arena from parking lots several blocks away

Walking around TCU at night during Christmas is wonderful. The tree is great to see and the kids enjoy wearing off Christmas energy in the commons area. Walked over to the stadium at night for some pictures. I may be partial since I graduated from TCU...but it is such a beautiful campus!

The campus is very nice, and the sports teams do well especially the football team this year...ranked 6th in th nation. It's a nice place for tennis also.

During the Christmas season the campus is lit up. Very well done and if you are in the area, park the car and walk the campus after dark.

Went with daughter and grandson to spend day viewing and learning more about the school. By the end of the day, was really impressed with the university and its environs. Have a good friend who teaches there and his insight was also very helpful. Fort Worth is a really neat large city...the downtown is one of the best in the country and the cultural, entertainment and dining options are many. Would recommend a visit to TCU and Fort Worth...you will not be disappointed.

I didn't want an education right out of High School, I waited a few years. TCU campus is filled with gorgeous oak trees - my classes were relatively small (especially for advanced degrees). Great education! oh yes, my first class at TCU was in Reed Hall, the same building that was the main building when my dad was at TCU during the 1950's

This is a great school! Very clean and you can get one of the best educations in the country. If you want to be a part of something great then here it is!!

This stadium is very upscale and new feeling compared to almost any other major college football stadium. For such a large stadium, the atmosphere is surprisingly intimate in the best possible way, and the fans are mostly very friendly and courteous. This atmosphere is almost certainly enhanced by the stadium being tucked in a beautiful neighborhood in SW Ft. Worth. The sound system is really good, and the video boards are nice and smartly-located. The concessions are plentiful and very conveniently located in much more open and welcoming spaces than the closed dungeon-like concourses of the past. In fact, you can nearly see the game while ordering your snacks. Our experience was certainly enhanced by perfect weather and a nip and tuck game where 25th ranked TCU knocked off #4 OU, 37-33. We made friends all around us and never heard an obnoxious word from fans of either team. Our experience here was entirely positive, so it is hard to find much not to like. Relative negatives, however, would be mostly parking related. There is not much parking provided by TCU, and the gameday yard signs indicate that most neighbors are none too excited about patron parking on their curbs, either. There may be some good parking tips, but I don't know any. Like the rest of the day, we got lucky by parking for free far away, and catching a free shuttle to and from the game. Also, the port-a-potties just outside the stadium aren't a bad idea as they might seem, because the only other shortcoming of the stadium may be the limited restrooms. Fortunately, this didn't really appear to be a big deal for anyone either (especially since they don't serve alcohol here, so most patrons aren't carrying around 7+ gallons of beer in their gut!). This is as good a place as there is to watch big-time college football!

Recently attended the MN Gopher game at TCU in September. Parked at St. Steven's church parking lot and took shuttle to the stadium. The Frogs stomped the Gophers but really still enjoyed the beautiful fall day in Fort Worth and a beautiful stadium. The TCU fans were amazing. So friendly and laid back. The campus is small and intimate and the grounds and buildings are well kept and beautiful. I was impressed and enjoyed the experience.

This place is A SCAM!!!! Do NOT go there. It's built around luring students in with a falsifying website and promotionals which make it better than it is. You go there, your GPA could possibly drop PURPOSEFULLY, which they are doing to falsely in-flate their rankings (why have they climbed up so quickly?), with bad teachers, textbooks which don't match with schoolwork, pop quizes w/o adequate lecturing.. and did I mention, their financial department uses MANUAL machines to count your finances? They will ONLY refund you in $20 bills, instead of $100s, so I think they ripped off $100 from the $1000 I was supposed to get by counting it wrong. Then they say they have no $100s, then they make it EXTREMELY difficult to get back your refunds, from say, a scholarship, by only giving you $100 PER DAY. THEN their bookSTORE seems larger than their library, which is only 3 stories. THEN their Spanish "book" is $157 for like some skinny thing which doesn't even follow the class, and they don't use it really or give out homework (there's no homework in ANY of their classes, btw, just POP quizes and Q&As where you learn WRONG answers from other stuents)... then one prof actually SCARED one student and like every day asked if they thought they were scared. They DON"T want to give you your money, but TAKE everything you have for lousy curriculum, horrible professors who don't even teach, horrible textbooks (or lack of them in some classes - then the prof will tell you to write terms down and learn them, but doesn't even explain them or give textbooks which define them).. students there have LOW GPAS there, ON PURPOSE, to falsely in-flate their rankings.. then let me tell you a secret, if you go to their counseling office, WATCH OUT. Only an insider could tell you this, you could get sent to a mental hospital. Odd? It is, I was told honor students, perfectionists ect had been sent to a place for a min of 7 days, and not allowed on campus/go to class unless they do it, then they go back to class, can't keep up, then eventually go home. Their GPAs are TANKED, PURPOSEFULLY. Scary nightmare? You bet it is. Especially if you go there on their GPA scholarships, which are the only scholarships they offer (no fin need ones), so you cannot afford it anymore. Then that sinks into a financial hole anymore. I've been to other universities/colleges before, the textbooks, materials are the same or even better, the place is a scam, and really, be careful, especially about your GPA and that counseling center, and also the financial services department. It's a lie.. also, there's almost no club activities on campus, although their website claims there are 140 clubs, their GK almost disbanded for 4 years, e.g., and there is no Associate Students or any class elections. Also, there's really no system to help students' GPAs with tutoring, resource centers, ect. They claim at orientation there is some, but there really isn't, and they want you to pay for it. It's all a business and a little scary considering how people get scammed. Watch out for that place.

Stunning campus (even with all the construction). A very cool way to spend the afternoon. There are plenty of great spots too eat on and around campus too!
