the barn theatre

New York style performances w/o the NY prices. Wonderful productions, great atmosphere and they must be doing something right. Theater has been operating for 75 years.

We saw 3 shows at the Barn Theatre. All of them were very good. The production is well done, the performers are excellent, and the venue is very nice. The Barn Theatre is bargain for a great night out. Arrive early because parking is a challenge.

The theatre is located in Montville, on Skyline Drive. It offers a season of great selections of theatre from drama to musicals. In past years, I enjoyed a great evening out without having to travel in NYC! Recently I was at the theatre box office to purchase tickets for the upcoming season, and rehearsals were taking place. The actors are wonderful and the set designs were terrific and I thought people need to know about this hidden gem of a theatre! The new season has a great offering of shows to suit many tastes.
