great experience for families with small children or beginners just learning. Staff was extremely friendly and willing to help in any manner. There is skiing, tubing, and ice skating.

Great little family mountain for young children especially! They can ride the rope tow alone and you can stand there and watch! Nice views. Close to Madison and Conway

King Pine is a great place for first time child and adult skiers and snowboarders. Friends here in the area recommended King Pine for their reputation in qualirlty service and smaller less crowded mountain trails. My grandchildren have had lessons here for the past 6 years when up from Mass & RI and have enjoyed every visit. A special shout out to Chip, a wonderful snowboaed instructor who has a true talent for teaching the kiddos. You will be hooked after just one visit!

We love our visit to King pine Ski Area! It has great and beautiful landscapes, also lots of fresh snow the day we skied!! We took the beginner classes and were able to go down the hill by the end of the day! The prices and food are good! We had some burgers, fries and pizza for about 20$, the lessons were $73 per person and they included rentals, classes and lift tickets! You also have access to the ice skating rink and snowshoeing! Would def go back!!

X-c trails were ungroomed and not well maintained or marked, although we only explored one section. Rentals were handled well

Cannot beat the 1-2-3 ski package for kids and adults. Great prices for lift tickets and tubing. Family ski area with great lessons program. We all took lessons (1 child, 2 adults) the instructors were all friendly, experienced and patient. We really enjoyed the experience. Thank you to insturctors Jen, Joyce, Bruce and Paul - we loved skiing. ski store staff was so friendly and everyone in the rentals area. Scoop even helped us with ski buying advice/recommendations for boots and skiis. All around - a great experience.Nice job King Pine!

Great fun tubing here during Christmas vacation! There was not much snow but the tubing lanes were fun. Kids of all ages and even some seniors were all having fun being pulled up by he tubing rope and tubing down the hills. With your ticket you get a 2 hour window and that is enough time to have lots of fun.Great find in the White Mountains close to N Conway!

This place is good for beginners and families. The instructors are really good. The mountain is groomed well. It's not over crowded. It was just a pleasant experience

Awesome for beginnersNot too crowded on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. I need more letters to meet the 50 letter minimum

Perfect for young kids and family, staff was Awsome!! Priced well, and everything was completely appropriate for a family we traveled with her six-year-old and a-year-old who's never skied before learned by the end of the day because of the great staff, if you're looking to show off your new ski jacket his isn't the place! If you want to have a good honest family day this is the place.

We're a party of 7 visiting from the UK for xmas. 4 of us took beginner lessons (2 kids). The classes were small (only 1 other person in both the kids and adult ones) - this was probably due to it being 21 December and it was really quiet. They have a small beginner/learner slope with a travelator thingy (I'm sure there's a proper name for it). This was really great. We were therefore VERY disappointed that they turned it off after the class. This meant there was only one other run suitable for a beginner who wants more practice and the rope lift was awkward and put us off. Apparently they had low staff and this was the reason some of the runs and lifts (and the ice rink) weren't open rather than the weather. Considering how much we paid I am still a bit annoyed to be honest. The food is very basic but kind of expected that. The boot hire staff were awesome. They were very patient with me changing my boots 3 times (once in tears) because I was in so much pain! All in all the snow was lovely despite there not being any natural fallen for at least a week, the instructors were brilliant and it was really quiet. Sadly we'll probably go somewhere else today where they have a better chance of having more runs open for beginners as this was an issue for us.

Quilters, this is a great time to work on projects you have started, to share ideas with other quilters, and to learn some new skills or complete some smaller projects

At the base of the White Mountains and in within the mountains, there are many ski areas. King Pine, just south of the hub of skiing , Conway, NH offers all the amenities of the "mega-resorts" without the "mega-pricing". Ski, board, tube, cross country ski on a network of groomed trails fine dining, great snack bar, warm well staffed tavern, it has it all. Affordable FAMILY fun, and it is FAMILY owned and operated! King Pine, being part of Purity Spring Resort, offers lodging also! Do not pass up this gem!
