monastery of st gertrude

Perfect place for a couples getaway or just passing through..we took our bike and its a nice out of way place, but not too far out...great hospitality...toured the Montesary, alot of history here..walking paths...well worth it..

This is a "working" Monastery in the middle of Central Idaho. Who knew?? About an hour from Spokane Washington, or two hours from Boise Idaho, it is well worth the time. The Museum tells the history of the surrounding area and the people who built the area. Well worth the drive--give yourself about 2-3 hours to see everything--including the Monastery. The Sisters there are very nice and informative.
