The interior seems "just right" for a movie theatre. The upper Penthouse is warm, attractive and comfortable. The management/owner has made this theatre an asset for the community throughout their showing of special films on their Second Sunday Cinema.

We Love the historic movie house in Montrose! The Penthouse is the best.It would be nice to have stadium seating but you can't replace the old fashioned feel of a hometown theater.

Love this theatre. It is my favorite. Still has the original decor and tiles. The service is always good here too.

I LOVE everythign about this jewel of a theatre. the 2nd Sunday films are so nice and the cheap Wed. night tickets appreciated. i especially love the healthy pop corn and the unique tiles through out. Best, friendly staff as well.

Wish the seats were a bit more comfortable and a little bit more room. Kinda of crowded. The staff was nice and refreshments were expensive. But overall it was great.

What a asset to have in our town. The food is good and the atmosphere is out standing. My wife and I love to watch movies and the Fox.

A great place to see a show. It'd been at least a decade since I last saw a movie here and wow what a treat. Other people have talked about the sloped, roped floors; the decor; and the comfortable seats with cup holders. Why go to newer, behemoth, overpriced theater when you can experience a movie in the atmosphere the Fox provides. This place has great character, is clean and even stately. The combo specials at concessions are fair and offer something for adults and kids. The staff, including several teens, were friendly and provided good service. This multi-level facility was great fun for our large family (wide range of adults, young children, and teens) and I would recommend it to everyone.

clean down home theater. popcorn nice staff friendly. sloped floor big screen very nice. this is a good place to get out of the sun and enjoy some old fashioned movies.

We went to Red2 on a Wednesday night, July 31. We did not realize they have a Wed. night special discount, so as seniors we only paid $5 each.The seating floor was sloped so seats or people would not likely obstruct your view. Although a bit narrower than some we've attended, the seats themselves were comfortable with cup holders, I also liked having an aisle on either end of the rows, which were 10-12 seats per row. I think there were about 30 +/- rows available. Sound was good, not too loud like some theaters. Some lights in ceiling in the last four rows did not seem to dim as much as the side lights, but as the movie progressed it was not as noticeable.We were only visiting, but should we happen to be in Montrose in the future, we would go there again, especially on Wed. nights. We would also suggest this Cinema to others too!

Very cool decor in this classic old theater. The upstairs main theater is beautiful, but the whole place is very unique. Well worth seeing a movie here!
