I grew up in Denver and remembered the train station as this dingy, creepy place. I cannot believe how beautiful it looks today - the renovation is gorgeous. There are loads of places to eat, drink, and the central waiting room is an absolute pleasure. Definitely worth a look when in lower downtown denver....

This is an old station that was converted into a hotel. It's nice but pretty small and nothing much to do. We just came here to eat at Snooze which is the best breakfast place we tried here.

Really wasn't sure what to expect but it wasn't what we found. Basically the old station is converted to business and hotel etc. At least it has been preserved but I can't say it is much of a location other than the architecture or the bars and cafes

The renovated train station is a great destination with several great places for dining and cocktails .When you enter it is like taking a step back in time. Location is downtown Denver and the free 16th street bus take you within a block.

They did a great job re-habbing it. Fantastic venue, good eateries & near Coors Field, Wynkoop Brewery & Tattered Cover bookstore

We took the AFS transport from DIA and arrived at the train depot. We had no idea what to expect and were stunned by the beautiful architecture and design. A 5 star hotel and a dozen restaurants are on the premises.

Walk into the front doors and experience this beautifully restored station that kept the best bits of the past while creating a destination with light and energy. The atrium is bright white glowing with sunshine that pours into the massive windows, lighting the sizzling activity on the floor. The Terminal Bar has kept the original ticket windows, and this turn of the century font letters the destination over every marble doorway. Buy flowers or books, charge your phone at the numerous tables scattered around the, or sit in wing back chairs while you enjoy your coffee and scone from Pigtail. You can also catch the Amtrak because it is still a train station. The Crawford Hotel offers a wonderful stay with rooms overlooking the activity below. There are multiple destination eateries for the most discerning of foodies. Don't miss this destination just steps from the 16th street mall.

When I first visited Union Station over 30 years ago it was on the skids. It was a dirty, dark, decrepid place that served Amtrak and the ski train. Now it is bright and airy with the great room preserved as the lobby of the Crawford Hotel. Full of great bars and restaurants. It is the center of a booming mixed use high density area. Denver is becoming a real city with this transportation hub.

A must see in Denver. This station goes back in time. We have taken the train from here many times to the mountains and California. A really great get a way for the weekend to the mountains. A lot of great retaurants and pubs nearby to walk to. So just a great must see.

Great meeting place with common areas, great restaurants and bars all in one place. Easy to get to, walking or taking the 16th street bus.

If you're in Denver, you have to at least stop by Union Station. My brother and I were wandering around the city and happened upon Union Station. It was cold so we decided to go in and the interior is stunning! Everything has been restored and it's absolutely beautiful! We perused the store fronts including the newspaper stand and the tiny flower shop. It was bustling, people going in and out, but it still felt upscale and relaxed. It houses a couple of the top rated restaurants, a cute coffee shop, a smaller version of a bookstore and a flower shop. If you are looking for a beautifully refurbished train station, this is it!

We were only here for a short moment while waiting to get on the light rail, but it seemed like a very nice building and was easy to navigate.

It is a central transportation hub. I was able to get out the edge of the city very easily! I like the 16th Street Free Ride.

Stopped to get out of the cold weather for a beer. Good for people watching. Looked like the food was pretty good, but we chose to head out to wander around instead.

Beautifully renovated working transit station with attached hotel. Grand hall architecture has been restored to create a large airy space to meet and work. Indeed a number of patrons seemed to be doing just that with several laptops being used by individuals and small groups. Range of seating configurations provided for different needs. Bar/cafe/shops are dotted around the outside of the hall. Cafe served delicious coffee and pastries but u fortunately no substantial breakfast food was available. Nice place to grab a coffee from while exploring the rest of the city.
