如果不是要冲着拍布鲁克林大桥的话,我觉得也就没必要走过来这边了。因为一来还蛮远的,二来公园也比较普通,除非你说休息以外。那还可以当是个歇脚的地方。

Despite the cold temperatures and snow, there were plenty of people jogging, with strollers and walking their dogs. The views of Manhattan are real special this time of year and you don't have to fights the crowds. The air quality is also fantastic this time of year!

DUMBO and the Heights open up to one of the newest public parks, still being created. Play areas, pop up pools in Summer and vast food stands on the weekends .Enjoy the views and don't forget that carousel with the Brooklyn Bridge as a backdrop.

Since we were in town we had to walk the bridge and then take a break in the park and people watch. It seems that people watching is popular

When I was living in NY, this was my very favorite place. In the evening the view is just taking your breath away.

Always enjoy going there. At the end you have to tune out the noise from the mahattan bridge traffic

My daughter and I enjoy strolling along the winding walkways at BBP. You'll sit on the grass soaking sun or soak in the pop-up pool before catching an outdoor movie beneath the stars. You'll find good eats at Fortuna, fresh homemade ice cream adjacent the Old Fulton Landing pier and a candlelit waterfront dining experience at the 'make reservations' River Cafe. The breathtaking views of Manhattan will be worth your while and keep you coming back!

We went to the Brooklyn Bridge Park while it was snowing to get some shots of the Manhattan skyline. Views from this location are stunning. Can't wait to go back again in the Spring and do it all over again.

The park is down on the site from the bridge, so you have a beatiful view on the bridge and also on sky line of Manhattan.

My first goal in visiting New York City was to find a great view of the Manhattan skyline. Since I stayed in Brooklyn, I knew I was close. I drove around the borough for a couple hours and finally happened upon this park. I got there near sundown, and it was wonderfully tranquil to walk around. There are vast walking paths and unparalleled views of the skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge. This is exactly the view I was looking for, and the only want I left with was to have more time to explore.

There are 6 piers in Brooklyn Bridge Park. You can do/see different things on each pier, and can easily walk between the piers. Some of the attractions included in the park are playgrounds, basketball courts, volleyball courts, and a very small "beach" area. You can also pick up the ferry to Goveners Island (from Memorial Day though Labor Day).

I participated in the 20-year planning process that finally resulted in the construction of this unique urban park. Many Brooklynites, particularly residents of Brooklyn Heights, are opposed to the funding mechanism (residential development along the park's edge) that will yield the means to maintain and operate this park, the same way as Hudson River Park and Governors Island Park must raise funds from the private sector to keep their respective parks in good repair. The wide-angle view from Brooklyn Bridge Park taking in Governors Island, the Statue of Liberty, downtown and midtown Manhattan, and the Brooklyn, Manhattan and Williamsburg Bridges is unsurpassed. One of the great benefits: Proximity and access to the water.Piers 2, 5 and 6 offer a range of sports (including seasonal kayaking and roller skating) beyond walking, jogging and bicycling. A small sand beach opened in summer 2014 (no wading and swimming permitted). Seasonal, almost non-stop programming is provided by the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy and all events are free of charge. The park has playgrounds for a variety of children's ages and boasts Jane's Carousel (concession) in the "interbridge" park area. On summer weekends, a ferry leaves from Pier 6, off Atlantic Avenue, to Governors Island every hour.Several food concessions operate from spring into late fall; my personal favorite is Fornino's rooftop pizzeria on Pier 6. During the past two years, the park played host to the popular Sunday Smorgasburg (the Saturday event is held in Williamsburg up the East River). The Picnic Peninsula with grill sites at Pier 5 tends to be fully occupied by 10 a.m. on weekends. There are three pizzerias, a Shakeshack and the Brooklyn Icecream Factory on the park's periphery (as well as other eating establishments in Dumbo), and many visitors bring picnics into the park. The summer months tend to bring very large numbers of visitors, particularly on weekends. Those allergic to crowds are advised to visit in the morning or evening. Photographers are at work as late as midnight.(This was written on the basis of many visits over the past years as the park has evolved.)

We got to the park by walking over the Brooklyn Bridge during the dark and then strolled along the waterfront in the park and we were rewarded with some great views of Manhattan. I imagine that the views during the day are just as good.Would highly recommend you getting down here for a stroll.

Along with Central and Prospect this park is in the top 3 Parks of NYC. Absolutely gorgeous with sweeping views of downtown and nice views of midtown. It sits in the best Brooklyn neighborhoods with plenty of great restaurants. A must visit for all living or visiting NYC.
