venture lanes

My girlfriend and I recently took our kids there for some fun bowling. The technology is very advanced for a bowling alley and the rates are very reasonable. We had a wonderful time. I think it is the best bowling alley in the area!

Venture Lanes is a nice bowling facility but it is located in a rather seedy neighborhood. Make sure you lock your car and are aware of your surroundings when you leave.

cool place for kids birthday party or when you need something to do. This place is out dated on apperance and technology but fun.

There were laser lights, and black lights at 9:30.

It's a pretty fun place. It could use some cleaning though.

fun place to take the kids. reasonable prices. an aging building and i think bowling alleys are going the way of skating rinks

Outdated and in a terrible neighborhood. Doesn't even accept Credit/Debit cards

Took the 7 year old to a party here today though I had been to other ones. The staff was very helpful with the party to make it go well. No problems and I'd have a party for kids here any time. Party room in the back if you book it. Plenty of parking and easy to get to. One caution, the food service is mediacre at best. Fries good, OK hot dog, poor burger. This review is only to reflect a party for a group of young children around 7 years old. I haven't been here for other things they offer.

The staff is very rude and unprofessional at Venture Lanes. They refused to let my children and their friends use bumpers saying they were too old. My 12 year old daughter was using a 6 pound ball and the woman behind the counter came down and took it from her saying you have to be 5 years old to use a 6 pound ball. This woman ruined a good part of their fun. My children were attending a friends birthday party and were there to have fun. If you pay to bowl, I think you should have your choice of balls to use, and if you are very small like my daughter, a 6 pound ball is the best choice. Had I been there I would have demanded my money back.
