I'm not an avid biker, so am not much interested in anything hard core. This was just a pleasant ride, with a couple of small hills to work up a bit of a sweat (nothing hard at all). Started trail behind Marley Station Mall (which was a great place to park the car), and headed South for a little over 9 miles. Didn't make it to Annapolis, because of time, but will definitely go back and do that another day. Also, am hearing the Airport loop is surprisingly nice too. So want to give that a go as well. Very nice, well kept and well traveled trail. Exceptionally nice on warmish Fall day, like we had for our trip. Enjoy! Well worth the time! Can stop along the way to have lunch too! Several eateries right off the trail along the way. :)

Perfect for running, bike, or walk. You can drive to a variety of parking lots. If you're dwntwn Annap go across the naval academy bridge and park at the end of the hill-lot is on the west side of 450. Trail is up the hill off of Bolter's Way. Portion south of the ranger station at Earliegh Heights is much nicer-about 6-7 miles. If you are a runner and dont mind the hills start anywhere downtown and go over the bridge-beautiful!

Nice, easy trail. Does get a little tight in some places with a lot of people but that is with any trail. Very good maintance of the trail.Went off trail and into Annapolis for lunch. Great day all around!

We were visiting Annapolis and decided to take our bikes and ride the B&A trail. It was a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon with plenty of people using the B&A trail. The trail is 13+ miles long, 8ft. wide paved surface and takes you through residential areas as well as wooded areas. The trail is fairly flat, straight which connects Annapolis MD to Glen Bernie. Yesterday there were a lot of bicycles, fair number of runners and walkers. We didn't stop for a rest, but there is places along the trail to stop and grap a bite.

The Baltimore Annapolis Trail is great for activity of all levels. Families with children in strollers walk and jog the trail as well as runners and cyclists in training. The trail spans 25 miles and can be very busy on a beautiful day to empty on a cool evening. At any time of day it has a variety of sun and shade and always seems pleasant. The hills are mild for the most part but you can plan out a more challenging or less challenging segment depending on your ambition any given day.

Maybe it was just too hot on the day I biked this trail, but it was long. Went the entire distance of the trail and back starting in Annapolis. Not much to see but the backs of some homes and kazoo. The closer we got to BTI the happier I was knowing my husband was went me, otherwise I would have felt safer "packing" Some "sketchy" characters on the trail. Would not recommend biking or walking this trail alone, outside of the Annapolis area. Be very careful at the crosswalks because the cars will not stop.

Nice place for a stroll or a bike ride, especially if you live in the Severna Park or Arnold area and just want to get out for a little outdoors exercise.

I took my three children on the trail and it was great for us. Mostly flat. Away from main road although there are some intersections. Went through several neighborhoods--varied between scenic, wooded and open. We easily hopped off the trail to get ice cream. Everything very accessible.

This is a flat straight trail. You are not going to get lost. The best place to park is behind the Marley Station Mall in Glen Burnie. The path South is much nicer than going North. If you want to see a video of the trail, I have one on my blog.http://smarttraveller2.blogspot.com/2014/03/bike-trails-baltimoreannapolisdc.html

My husband and I went for a jog here with our dog. We did the part of the trail that is near Severna Park. It was very nice. I enjoyed the scenery and random gardens scattered along the trail. A few times I felt like I was in another country, by the way the trees and bamboo made it feel like a jungle.

this trail can be crowed and crosses busy streets making for cautious cycling ...best used during off peak times...also safety can be an issue on the most northern parts of the trail beyond severna park

I love this trail for biking. Mostly wooded but does come in and out of some development. People are all there for the same reason to enjoy the outdoors. Accordingly they are very friendly. Come and experience nature

Plan to start your ride @ the Park & Ride several miles up the trail to avoid the long uphill road from the suggested Boulter's lot to the trail. We rode our loop from the P&R, south to the trail start, then back past our start to the end @ Glen Burnie & back to the Park & Ride lot - roughly 26 miles

On a sunny Saturday afternoon there were plenty of people using the trail but not so many that you couldn't enjoy your ride. Rode about 10 miles of the trail that took you through residential areas as well as wooded areas. One section had a few hills but for the most part the trail is fairly flat. Unlike many other trails, this one had a ranger station at about the mid-point with bathrooms and available water.

Is a great trail the professional bikers fly on it if you don't watch out they will run you down, you can pop on and off to grab a bite or coffee that is also nice.
