I've being coming to townhall with friends on a regular basis since they opened this location up and I only just tried their yellowfin tuna and quinoa salad last night. I have to say, it was amazing. The tuna was seared rare perfectly with an amazing wasabi dressing! I think I found my regular!Their wings are great too! :)

We stopped for lunch and had fish tacos, broccolli cheddar soup and the yellow fin tuna quinoa salad. Everything was really tasty, decent portions, reasonable prices and the staff were very friendly. We would go back when we are in town or passing through again for sure!

Townhall was updated a few years ago (after bought by RJG) from the old French Quarter Pub. It has a great atmosphere. Staff are typically friendly though can be a bit slow. The 2 reasons to come here:1.weekend brunch -starts at 10am and there are $4 and $6 breakfasts. Though they are cheap, it is quality food and regular breakfast sized portion. My favorite is the skillet with bacon added. The ceasars are amazing, especially with extra olives added. The mimosas are not even worth $3 because almost no sparkling wine in them. Just get orange juice (or a ceasar).2.beer menu -the manager makes a great effort to bring in unique beers. There are many micro brews on tap as well as the typical pub beers. They also have a huge selection of bottles of micro brews from all over. This post in Trip Advisor says it is an attraction, but it is a restaurant/pub/local hangout

So we went to the Townhall Coquitlam for the first time on Fathers Day and the food was excellent for the price. We had cheap breakfast and baked potatoe pouting plus fried pickles and dessert. Everything was hot and fast the $3.00 mimosa was amazing, they could work on morning coffee but it was hot and plain. We have been to the White Rock location and I love the consistency. The service was really good until bill time but that may have been out impatience. My only complaint is the ran out of donuts to add with breakfast and really didn't offer an apology. We had to stop at Tim Hortons on the way home for that. But we did get a free Fathers Day breakfast and drink!
