Have the greatest variety of apple and squash found at any of the fruit stands in the area. Competively priced for most items. As with most shopping may find a lower price on some items elseware but will also find the lowest price on others here. Overall prices are competitive and selection excellent as is the quality in my experience over the past 5 years we have been going there.

We have been coming to Mariposa Fruit Stand for many years now, we find that the produce that this stand offers is rarely found anywhere else. Such as the various types of squashes, apples etc.. Mariposa has always been competitively priced, you get what you pay for. If your looking for local, quality fruit with a reasonable price my family and I definitely recommend Mariposa Fruit Stand!

We stopped buying anything at Mariposa several years ago for two reasons. Found it to be the most "Unfriendly" fruit stand in Keremeos. Scowls, dirty looks and that, "I'm too busy to bother with you!, body language. Once I returned some corn which only had half a dozen kernels per cob. "Oh we don't grow that ourselves! ..We buy it for re-sale so that can't be helped!" It made no sense to me but was apparently justification bad quality and a bad deal for me.Reason number two? Prices! New owners this year and the prices are worse than ever! We stopped it today Sept 14 2014. Lots and Lots of tourists paying ridiculous prices. Our trunk was full of luscious tomatoes which we had just purchased from our favourite fruit stand east of town. (The Peach King) We paid 30 cents per pound. Mariposa was charging 79cents or if you buy over 30 pounds they will only charge you 49 cents. What a deal for all the tourists! They pay Double! (Almost)

This is the fruit stand that we faithfully visit when passing through after our vacation each year. They have great prices, wide variety of local produce and fresh. When we buy flats of produce they will reweight it at purchase time in case anyone has taken some out of the box. This time one of the staff members actually came up looked at our four boxes of tomatoes, picked one up and said he was going to weight it as he had taken some out of it earlier. It was such a minimal amount in weight and they were very honest and kind to do this. This time we purchased 80 pounds of tomatoes, 20 pounds of peaches and ten pounds of pears. They as always are there to help in getting the trolley over to the till to help speed up the process. We do not ask for the help, they just offer it. Their peaches as growing just across the street so we know when we are buying a flat of fruit that is was freshly picked and not been sitting around for a long period of time. It all tastes so fresh and tasty. In the fall they have a wonderful pumpkin display that is fun to just check out even if you have no intentions in stopping to buy anythingWorth stopping at. They are one of the last fruit stands as you exit the town.

I stopped at Mariposa and purchased cherries, peaches and apricots. I was astounded by the quality I got and for such a great bargain too! Mariposa has a great variety of local produce and is definitely a stop on your way out, especially if you want that "bang for your buck!"

Stopped In to buy some peaches on my way to the coast. What a terrible example of okanagan fruit. I should have bought fruit in oliver where they were wonderful. Do not wait for this last chance to get fruit. Never again

we purchased a carton of apricots. They looked really good. When we gotthem home and took them out of the basket the bottom row were all small dried out badly blemished apricots. we are disgusted that they would do this to their customers. We are only 1 1/2 hours away so and had put them in our trailer which is cool.

A really great place to purchase all your fruits & vegetables. They have fresh honey from all over the valley & treats for the children..try different flavoured honey sticks.. You want to make pickles..they have the best cucumbers. The variety they have for garlic & peppers is outstanding. Do you like ice-cream they have that too.. there is lots of parking & picnic tables if you want to sit down & rest & brows the many different kinds of produce sold there. The staff are friendly & will answer any questions you may have. Access is easy...it's just off of Hwy 3 as you enter Keremeos from the west. I've never bought anything that I didn't like from there. People make a point of visiting this stand year after year.. it's really worth a stop..

Large fruit stand with a large variety of fresh fruit. Reasonably priced and the service is good. Friendly people who are always ready to help. My favourite fruit stand in the Keremeos area.

Visitors to the Okanagan Valley often tend to think of it as a Toy, a place to lay on the beaches, absorb the deserts heat, but this wasn't always the case. As time has passed most of the Valley is now built over with homes and businesses. A trip through the Similkameen on the return trip is just not complete without a stop at a good fruit stand. This takes one back to the root cause of why the area was developed. Nowhere else in Canada can such a variety of food be cultivated as in this area. The Mariposa fruit stand in Keremeos is the finest example of a family operated farm outlet that exists in Canada, and they've been in the same location since 1975. In this instance we're not just talking about an insignificant volume of product but 100's of thousands of pounds of clean high quality healthy produce. Every kind of pepper, from some so hot that even touching them can heat you up to the sweetest juciest most succulent and tasty available anywhere. Tomatoes of every variety, size and colour grown in the field not the hothouse, and available by the ton if you wish. Do you like to make your own sauces, bring a truck, and make mama happy. Spanish onoins, home grown garlic, squash, and pumpkin of every imaginable shape and colour await. Then of course there's the fruit. From watermelon to cantelope, peaches, cherries, plums to make your own Slivovitsa, apricots, pears, and of course apples of every variety. The best time to go is in late August or September. The staff are always cordial helpful and knowledgeable and you'll often see the owners still working hard after forty years in the business. If it's just a quick snack your after, ice cream, smoothies, corn on the cob, and hot dogs are available. Don't miss this attraction, take home some healthy food.
