伊甸山

可以看到天空塔的风景，奥克兰全景尽收眼底，而且没有门票！让人很惊讶，也体现新西兰淳朴的民风。 离市区很近，很喜欢！在山顶可以看到一个罗盘，指示离世界各大城市的距离，很新奇。

伊甸山Mt Eden是奥克兰最高是火山锥，站在196米高的锥顶可以看到奥克兰的全景、所有的海湾及50米深的火山坑。奥克兰有48座火山，都是死火山，最近一次喷发是在600年前。

这儿是奥克兰附近最高的山，上面是一个死火山口，已经铺上一层绿草。上面可以遥望sky tower，Viaduct Harbour等奥克兰著名景点。我们是开车上去，还有人散步、跑步，甚至骑自行车上来。

可以见到非常震撼的火山口，并俯瞰奥克兰全景，免费进入，开车上去非常方便，平时过去跑步也很惬意，离市中心也很近，周围公交发达，也很好找

中文“伊甸山”，位于市中心以南约3公里处，高196米。山顶上有简陋的瞭望台，树着世界自然文化遗产的石碑，还有一块铜盘，刻着此地到世界各大城市的距离，奥克兰距北京是10407公里。伊甸山底部是一个呈倒圆锥形的火山口，沉睡多年，长满青草。天气晴朗的话，在瞭望台上可以眺望奥克兰城市景色，包括海港。顺便说一句，山顶风非常大，我的帽子吹丢了。

I went to Mount Eden as part of Toru Tours. The view from here is fantastic! You can see all of Auckland and it's an easy walk to the top but there is a shuttle available if you need it.

The views from mount Eden are truly breathtaking! It was a clear sunny day day and, having the advantage of daughter who lives here, able to point out various landmarks etc made it all the more spectacular.

Great natural view of the city. Literally you are on the lip of an extinct volcano. A trail runs along the rim of the now grass covered cone. See the disappearing cannon emplacement and the Nintendo Mushroom field. A small car can make the narrow road to the top.

If you need a job as a tree cutter if you wnt to set up a tree chopping business and work 80hours a week welcome to Mt Eden New Zealand .Very little else to say about it except for the noise of tree mulchers going all day .

If you're visiting Auckland and have some time to kill, this is a worthwhile way to spend it. A peaceful haven at the top of the city, with clear views all the way around and out to the ocean. On a sunny day, this would be a great place for a picnic as well.

Friend of ours who was living in Auckland took us here. Very nice views of the city from atop this mount.

Well worth a visit, great views over auckland, you can see rangitoto island and the volcano crater at mount Eden. We went up in a car but there were lots of people walking up.

Mt Eden is a small park with a lot of elevation. It has great views of Auckland in all directions, and a few places to sit and observe. Trail access is steep in places, but quite manageable in normal shoes.

Great view all this stuff I'd read about a tough walk NOT so it was slightly uphill on a gravel path you don't have to be fit just normal lots of OAPS up there and they had no problems. Well worth a visit and the road out of Auckland is nice as well

Thisis an extinct vocano on the edge of Auckland.You can walk up it if you are fit, but probably best to drive.Woth an hour of your time
