Don't miss out on visiting this beautiful, sleepy little seaside village.Watch the boats come in, delivering fresh seafood - and buy your fresh fish and chips right there!A great chinese restaurant right on the harbour - or go upstairs for a choice of other venues, including a great italian restaurant. My personal favourite is the Wine Bar upstairs. Enjoy a great variety of wines, overlooking the harbour, with friendly staff who know their wines. (Try the dips with your wine... fantastic! )

What a great place to stop when visiting or passing thru Bermi. Some fantastic seafood restaurants on upper or lower levels of the aesthetically pleasing wharf.Great place to meet up with friends on a sunny afternoon.

good variety of restaurants from seafood, chinese, burgers etc. great place to sit and watch the pelicans fly in and the fishing boats return to the harbour.

We went here hoping to buy freshly caught fish for dinner for 14 people, only to discover it all gets sent to Sydney and not much is left for locals or visitors!

Stopped here specifically for their fish and chips and prawns. Delicious. Went back for a second helping of prawns!!! Friendly, helpful lady who served us. Would urge you to try... Won't be disappointed!!!

On a recent road trip on the Far South Coast, we visited the Bermagui Wharf to check out the restaurants that were available on the night we were staying in Bermagui. This is a great little spot to check out the various eateries and also to see the fishing vessels in the harbor. It is a relaxing spot to sit down and have a coffee or have a leisurely lunch or dinner. There was plenty of parking available and stairs to the upstairs area.

Right on the marina with its expensive offshore gamefishing charter boats, Fisherman's Wharf is home to a couple of gift shops, clothing outfitters, a few restaurants and even a wine bar. Of special interest is Il Passaggio, a world class Italian eatery on the upper deck.

This is a very nice building with added interest from the local tree trunks which provide the framework to the building. There are restaurants, cafes, a wine bar, a very good clothes shop, and a bazaar type shop, as well as the fish Co-Op where you can buy fresh local fish or fish and chips to eat outside the Co-Op. It is most enjoyable to have a meal or a coffee and look at the boats in the harbour, the sea beyond, and Mt Dromedary (Gulaga). The Wharf is a wonderful addition to Bermagui, which is a pearl on the Far South Coast.

I expected it to be better than it was. The dine-in is in no way memorable. Better to grab their fish'n'chips and eat it in the adjacent park.

We've been going to Bermagui for a number of years and have seen how the Fishermen's Wharf has really transformed the waterfront. Upstairs you've got a choice of two coffee places early in the morning, and later in the day the restaurants and wine bar open up; we love drinking or eating with the marvellous view over the fishing boats out across the bay and over to Mount Dromedary (Gulaga). The people are great, and all food and drink are great. Downstairs are a couple of shops good for a browse and also the fish and chips served downstairs is great. For us the Fishermen's Wharf has really changed the waterfront of Bermagui very much for the better.

Whilst still in use as a fishing harbour the wharf area has been recently redeveloped and offers a range of shops and eateries. We had some fish (as fresh as it comes) and chips from the fish shop (buy stuff to take home or get them to prepare it for consumption here) and ate them overlooking the harbour itself - a lovely setting. I must agree with a previous reviewer that Bermagui itself seems relatively unspoilt and shows exactly why this area is known as the Sapphire Coast. Make sure you see some of the beaches.

The stunning Fishermen's Wharf building using local timber poles has transformed the harbourside of Bermagui. Whether just hanging around watching the activity or enjoying some of the excellent food on offer at the cafes, restaurants or fish shop, this is a delightful place to be. The view across the bay to Mount Dromedary is one of the best on the far south coast of New South Wales. Bermagui and its surrounding area is a hidden jewel of Australia without the tacky development of places further north. Very relaxing.
