Very knowledgeable introduction to Romanian wine and done with a smile! Cheese and meat platters were served and consumed. It's just opposite The Artist restaurant which is another must for anyone who loves food and wine.

We ended up here after dinner at The Artist restaurant directly opposite. It's a great space with friendly, knowledgeable staff who are happy to help you select a local wine. It is clearly popular with locals and tourists alike and was full the night we were there - we managed to get the last two stools at the bar. If you're interested in wine, then it's definitely worth a visit.

Everything is perfect when it comes to the service and the general atmosphere and also to the wines but when you see the prices they are a bit too high.

I've been going to Abel's wine for a some time and I have always felt wonderful.You can choose from many wine sortiments that will make you evening perfect.The owner and his team are just great. I haven't seen so good waiters for some time.It's a best place to end a working day and stay with your friends.

Abel's is the place where you can taste incredible romanian wines, but also other types of wines from around the world. The service is very nice and it knows very well what kind of wines to recommend. If you are looking for a nice, quiet place to hang out with your friends then Abel's it's a good choice.

What a gem! A great little spot on the edge of the very touristic Old Town where the staff welcomes you with a genuine smile and great advice on which wine(s) to order. We really enjoyed the wine and the accompanying cheese plate.

Informative staff who know their wines. A pleasant evening spent with friends sampling some of Romania's fantastic wines. The owner very friendly and hungry for feedback to improve their service. A huge thumbs up on this account. Look out for their continental cheese platter. A perfect accompaniment to the variety of wines on offer.

Great selection of wines from Romania and the rest of the world. We had a Romanian Pinot Noir which was outstanding. The perfect setting to wind down after a day of sightseeing.

Spent a wonderful couple of hours with some friends here trying lots of Romanian and international wines. They even helped us coordinate a blind wine tasting competition I decided to run. Great!

he most favourable climate for those who want peace and intimity. Impeccable service accompanied every time by the staff's good humour. The staff's competence in suggesting the appropriate drink for each client, according to his preferences. Although I am knowledgeable about wines I chose to let myself surprised by the staff's suggestions. First I tryed La Certa Cuvee, then the temptation from Oprisor. Good choices! For those who choose musical refinement this is the ideal location. I wholeheartedly recommend it. Too bad I was late in discovering it.

Abel's wine bar is definitely the place to go when looking for particularly good wines. What a great place to comfort yourself in Bucharest old downtown.

Excellent place to drink a quality wine, the service was great, very helpful and friendly.Even if I'm not a wine drinker I was helped by the staff to make a right choice from the whole variety of wines.I also tasted the plates with selected cheese and sort of specialties which were tasty.I will definitely visit again.
