I have the pleasure of owning a home fronting the 9th green on this course so I probably have a biased view of my home course BUT I have played all of the other area courses and Verde Santa Fe Golf Course to me has the best value for your money! There are NO Sand Traps on the course and for good reason. The winds that come from the Southwest are at times a 2 to 3 club wind and all the sand would just blow out onto the course and greens and who needs that? I have recently moved my game to the Gold Tees and I have found the course to still be challenging but yet fair. The Club Pro, Mike Wright, and the Head Greenskeeper, Jesse Diehl have put together a true gem of a course just 15 minutes from Sedona where you will pay just half of what you would in the Red Rock area. Course ratings for the Gold Tees is 65.6, from the White Tees 67.7 and from the Black Tees 69.5. A great course for all handicaps that won't empty your wallet. Tell the Pro Shop that Brian sent you and hit 'em straight!
we played this course during our stay at Highland resort Verdes Ridge, the rates are very good , we played twilight rates after 3pm for $25 with cart , the course was in what I thought was excellent condition for a public course in winter, the greens where some of the best I have seen. the course could of had some sand traps , and water in play on front 9
Recently I had the pleasure of playing this golf course which is located approximately 15 miles south of Sedona. It is a fun experience from the time you enter the pro shop. The golf course was overseeded prior to my arrival but the fairways and greens were in excellent shape. There is no sand bunkers at this site but plenty of grass pot bunkers, water and wash/native areas. Cost is very reasonable for the Sedona area. I would highly recommend this course for anyone in the Cottonwood/Sedona area
We recently stayed the Highlands Resort at Verde Ridge and we took advantage of this golf course right on the property and had a lovely time, despite to 100 degree weather. The lady from the pro shop even loaned us a small cooler with ice to keep our waters cold while out on the course. That was so helpful! The grounds were pretty clean. There were a few signs that needed painting, but otherwise very nice.
Nice course and the price is very reasonable. This was our second time playing the course and we always got a good golf time. Just the right amount of challenge on the eighteen hole course.
Great bargain for golfers, $20 more for club rental. The course was not a great of some but you couldn't turn it down for that price. As I hate having to travel with clubs.
My wife and I have been playing this golf course form years when visiting the area. We have the best time playing this course each and every time. This week we played in the afternoon for $20 each. You can't beat the price. The course is in great shape and we played the course in 3 hours. We will continue to play this course in the years to come.
Cheap golf, nice eats, and beer.Close to Cottonwood, and Sedona.Nice Cheap golf, nice eats, and beer.Cheap golf, nice eats, and beer.Cheap golf, nice eats, and beer.
The best greens this side of $200 Scottsdale golf. Course was in excellent shape, drinks were very affordable, and the staff was great.
Reasonably price desert style course running through retirement community. Okay for beginning golfers but don't chase balls where you see snake holes.
