Wall Springs park is a nice, quiet place to go with some very interesting history. Unfortunately, in 2014, one of the best attractions, the lookout building was burned down by vandals. I guess some people get their kicks by destroying public property. Good news, the rebuild is underway, should be finished by the end of 2015.It's a nice, fairly short bike ride from Tarpon Springs, we look forward to seeing the renovations.

This little gem is kind of hidden along alternate 19. And that's a good thing! Most parks in Pinellas county are inundated with people and your child will have a hard time finding an open swing. Wall Springs is not like that at all. There are two play grounds. One for smaller children and one for older kids. Being that my son is in a wheel chair, I particularly loved the sidewalks that go all the way from the parking lot to the playground. It makes getting him to the playground easy. He loves the handicapped accessible swings too! It's wonderful being able to put him in a swing. :) He also liked the faux rock climbing wall because he can pull himself up to a stand there. We lift him up and help him get to the slides too, Much fun! There are potties right there in the park too, and they're reasonably clean. The piers are great to walk out over the water. We love this little park. There are two picnic shelter areas and I suspect this would be a wonderful park to hold a birthday party in. Not sure if they take reservations for the shelters though. It's probably first come first serve.

On the bike trail, I always go in and check out the Spring to see what bird and wildlife are there. Seems to be a great family place.

Most of this free county park is closed off due to reconstruction of an observation tower and trail improvements. As of Feb 4, tower is only half complete and work is slow. Check Pinellas county park website for updates but don't expect it reopened for months yet. Childrens playground and spring remains open.

Interesting. Overgrown this year…but if you have never been there…pleasant and historical…picnic tables…walking bridges…lots of trees and water

Not so well known park in Palm Harbor. Right off the Pinellas Trail so bring your bikes and ride north to Tarpon Springs. Great place for a family picnic.

I couldn't get to the observation tower or the back trails of the park there are construction fences and building materials. Does anyone know when it will be reopened? The spring is really cool, lots of birds and a bunny!

This is a lovely park with trails, observation tower, piers along the water and a great play area for the children. Plenty of Rest Rooms along the trail. Great place to see wild life.

Been here many times. Usually very peaceful and a good place for a walk. If you have really young kids, this is a great place for a walk with a stroller. Good play ground for the youngsters too.

I love the boardwalk and the long trails, clean and well laid out. Dogs are allowed on leashes which is always a plus for me.

It used to be a famous swimming hole in the early years, but is now overgrown with trees & shrubs. You can't feel the greatness of the area. Not much to see.

Every person can take advantage of this great park. Walking paths, picnic areas and beautiful water front areas. When families wonder what they can do for little to no money, pack a picnic and go spend some time outdoors with your family. Very educational for those wanting to learn about the area. So get the kids away from the computer or TV, put your dog on a leash and plan an afternoon at this beautiful park.

great park for families. children enjoy the playground and feeding the birds and fish at the springs. Years ago this was a stop for private railroad cars for wealthy people to enjoy for their health. Very convenient from the Pinellas Trail or by vehicle. At one time there was a tower which was very popular, but it burned down recently and is to be rebuilt.

This park is great for families, it has a wonderful playground for kids. Lots of picnic tables through out the park. Docks to go out on to fish, watch the sunset over the gulf, or watch birds. There is a boardwalk around the natural springs so you can watch the water bubble up and all the fish, ducks, turtles and birds that feed there. It is right on the pinellas bike trail. Pretty much the whole park is wheelchair accessible. There used to be a fabulous three story observation tower that an unkind and uncool arsonist burned down a couple years back. I hope the county rebuilds it because the views were amazing. Despite that it is still a great park and very clean and natural.
