Bought two massage sessions and was looking forward to a stress free day :). Arrived and was coldly greeted by a male masseuse, not sure of his name but of Asian lineage,My mother and I are pretty easy going and didn't pay much mind to it, it is in hindsight that I realize his greeting was far from inviting. During the massage, my masseuse was kind as to notice I was cold and ask if she would like me to turn the temperature of the stretcher up. It felt great and as my mom and I were in a shared room, I asked her if she would like the same to be done for her as it was a great suggestion. He was annoyed and irritated when my mother said she'd really appreciate it as she was feeling a little nippy too. When she asked him, he responded "YOU WANT THIS" and my mother confusingly replied yes please. At the end of our sessions, we tip $20 for both of them and he stays looking at the bills saying "what was wrong, people leave more than that, do you not have more to give?" As I type this, I cannot believe that someone would be so rude as to say this. It left such a bad taste in my mouth, normally when I write a review, it is a positive one. I have never had a customer service experience like this one was and would hate for anyone to have a remotely similar experience to this one.

My fiancé and I purchased a Groupon for a 60 min couple's massage with aromatherapy. We were warmly greeted by Mark and Teresa and after filling out a form and having a quick chat, the massage started. The ambiance is calm and relaxing. The aromatherapy smelled amazing! Mark did an amazing job and really listened to my needs. The same goes for Teresa for my fiancé's massage. We will definitely be back. If you haven't tried Chi Spa, you're missing out on a truly relaxing experience.

If I hadn't been sent to Chi Spa I may have driven by. I was pleasantly pleased with everything I learned on my visit. The ambiance is fantastic, the decor is lovely, the attention to comfort and detail was amazing. This little gem is hidden in the city of Wilton Manors but upon entering, you instantly feel relaxed. It's Thai inspired, cozy and the service is friendly! The negatives I would say are they don't ask you if you prefer a male or female massage therapist and the parking is tight and limited. However, the positives definitely out weight the negatives! The massages do run for a full hour, the therapists are courteous and don't talk your ear off like other places. The establishment was clean, very Thai inspired, and smelled great! I would definitely go again!

I've been to almost all the therapists over the past 2 years & they are so skilled & talented. It's also so beautifully decorated & has such a good energy about it. A must visit hidden gem in Wilton Manors, just north of Fort Lauderdale! The weekends book up fast so plan your reservations ahead of time.

I got a Groupon for this place prior to me going to Ft. Lauderdale, I did call first and they were very helpful in booking our couples massage. I've had quite a few massage and my boyfriend and I requested a deep tissue, and this was offered in my Groupon. My boyfriend loved his session, it was great he said. My on the other had was just ok. I think the massage therapist was scared to massage me too hard, but I did say I really need the deep tissue massage and so he started to do it correctly but only on my back. So I guess the only recommendation I would give is to let your therapist know it's OK to go for it when requesting the deep tissue.

I have had massages just about everywhere, from Red Door to Massage Envy (too many to mention, including several in Asia), and I can't say that any of them stood out in any way - there was nothing wrong with any of the massage therapists, but I felt they were just doing their job,they were just going through the motions, massaging as they have been taught, but not really putting thought into it or treating me as an individual. Hard to explain, but I always left with a sense of disappointment. Like I had been a big slab of meat that they had massaged without any thought or real personal attention - like the minute the massage started, they were off in a zone, mechanically doing the massage. I got a Groupon to Chi Spa and thought I would try it, just because it was a good deal but fully expected to feel that same sense of disappointment I've felt at all the other spas I have tried. Let me tell you, I could not have been more wrong!!!!! I cannot TELL you how surprised I was to actually be treated like an individual - the massage therapist (Alexia) treated me like she actually CARED about my experience there, and cared about why I was there - asked a lot of questions (nobody else has ever asked me questions other than what kind of pressure do i want) and I really felt like I was a VIP. The massage was OUTSTANDING - she really was paying attention to what she was doing, very sensitive to all the things I had mentioned to her and she hadn't "zoned out" (like I imagine most of the other therapists I have had in the past) - she was right there, present with me, and very aware of my needs. I remember thinking, wow, now THIS is what a good massage is!!!!!SHE WAS FANTASTIC! I have never consciously thought, during any massage, well, I can't wait to come back - normally I think "I wonder how long until this is over" - but with Alexia, I was looking forward to coming back. She was very thorough, and from what I read, it's not just Alexia - apparently all their massage therapists are excellent - so I have to say, by FAR the best massage I have ever had, and by FAR the best experience overall. What a nice person she is! Having said that, I met one of the other massage therapists too, as I was leaving, and he also seemed really nice and caring - it's definitely the personal touch - you're not just a number here, and all I can say is try Chi before you try any of the others - you will not regret it. I give it 10 out of 10 (or in tripadvisor 5 out of 5). Excellent.
