This is a great local Theatre, amazing for a small town to have not only a great new purpose built theatre, but local talent to produce some great plays. I have seen about 8 there now, and always an interesting and entertaining production, Just a few blocks from Centre street, so we enjoy a casual dinner out on the town before the performance. Mix with locals and visitors alike pre-show in the lobby and enjoy a glass of wine (Finish before entering) A fun, affordable night out

Over the last five years, have been to several Plays and Musicals at this theater, and as with any performances, some are great, others good, and a few bad. This is a new building with up-to-date seating and lighting. Wine can be purchased before and between acts. There is an art gallery in the lobby area that is interesting. We saw "Always A Bride," a comedy. It was really fun. We like to go to community theaters whenever we visit a new area and we were not let down. We were welcomed kindly at the box office. They have some interesting upcoming shows. If I'm in the area, I would love to check them out again.

In town for a week, we happened onto the opening night of this absolutely charming production. Staged in a lovely local theatre, it was a stellar production of a super fun play!

It is a small theater made up of mostly volunteers, they do a good job with what they have and put their heart into it.

This is a local theater that draws talent from the community. While it is not Broadway it was an enjoyable way to spend an evening, and only $20 each. We saw BINGO the winning musical. So while the singing was a little off at times the personalities made up for it. I had a good time, would go again.

Very professional performances at an exceptional price. A varied list of perfomances. theatre is small enough to feel you are right up there with the actors. Scenary is very well done.

Show was very well acted... singing not so much. Overrall very, very entertaining. Very comfortable theater..reasonably priced

We just saw the encore performance of Good Bodies at ACT. If you are in town and want a bit of entertainment, the Amelia Community Theater is first rate and has the easy going flavor of Fernandina Beach.Just two blocks from Centre Street, well worth the visit and lots of free parking.

We lived in Amelia Island for 10 years and never missed any of their plays. Top notch people in charge of the theater, great casting, good talent selected to appear.

My family and I saw The Foreigner, last night at ACT. Very well done! We had lots of fun and would certainly recommend this great little theatre!

Been many times to our theatre and never had a bad experience. A great deal of hard work goes into each production and it sure shows. A great deal of acting talent involved. Highly recommended.

We were delighted to find the ACT within walking distance of the Hampton Inn & Suites. We ordered reasonably priced tickets online and had them held at will call. The show we saw was light hearted and well done in a lovely theater building. Highly recommended!

The recently built theater does not have a bad seat in the house, And because it's fairly new, the audience benefits from a modern and well designed production area that rivals most professional theaters.The casts - made up of dedicated community actors - can easily shine when they're backed so well by seasoned and skilled set designers/builders and a support crew that pays attention to the details.If you're lucky enough to be around during a production, grab a ticket. The movies can wait.
