The zoo has seen better days. Most of the exhibits are empty, being cleaned, under construction etc. There are, however, a few exhibits that we always love to see. The chimps are always so entertaining. They never fail to keep us there for a good hour just watching them play and act silly. The Rainforest is another one that our whole family loves. They offer so many neat animals in this building and some of them roam free. It is a beautiful exhibit. The elephant exhibit is also a highlight of this trip. The penguin exhibit is newer and nice but I always feel like it just leaves me longer for something more. It never really holds our attention for long. The food and gift shop are greatly overpriced BUT you can bring in your own food and drinks and eat at their picnic tables through out the zoo if you like. Or there is a park and picnic tables just outside of the zoo that is great for this also. The rest of the exhibits are less than interesting for the most part sadly. I feel so bad for the animals in the other exhibits because they all look so depressed

The grounds are fairly clean and nice but there weren't enough animals, and not enough good interesting animals. The ones that were visible were always sleeping in the corners inactive. There aren't enough interesting shows or exhibitions. Literally a waste a money.

I actually went there a couple of years ago. The date ranges in Tripadisor are quite limiting. The zoo is very underfunded and has seen better days. It's not that exeonsive so if you need to kills some time, then go ahead, It's not a destination trip. Do it if you're in town for something else. Honestly, see the aquarium before you come here. Pricey but well done.

The Tulsa zoo is pretty nice and it appears that they take really good care of the grounds and the animals. There always seems to be anew exhibit going up or some sort of educational class. Tulsans love to go to the Zoo when the weather is nice. So, if you want to go when it is not really crowded go when the weather is not so nice!

We love Zoos, so we go every chance we get. The Tulsa Zoo fluctuates greatly with its exhibits. We go every time that we have time while in Tulsa. This last weekend the weather was perfect and the animals were fairly active. It was wonderful to see grizzly bears back at the zoo, if only while they are on loan. The Zookeeper Chats are nice and informative. This weekend we were able to catch two of them, the sea lion and the chimpanzee. We have never taken the train as we prefer to walk. However I see many who do and they appear to enjoy it. As for others who say it is too spread out...it is a Zoo and animals need their space. I do not find it too spread out. In fact I wish I saw more space for some of the animals. I feel that the bears and lions need new enclosures with more space. It would be lovely to see them with grass under foot instead of concrete. As with any zoo/amusement park, bring your own snacks if possible. They are very pricey, $1.85 for a .50 cent snack bag of animal crackers! The drink prices are pretty standard.

I spend a lot of time at the Tulsa Zoo with my toddler. It's great to spend a couple of hours. The animals aren't too exotic and it seems like most of them were injured in the past. There are no zebras, which is a bummer because that's my daughter's favorite animal. It's nice for the price, but not quite as exciting as the Oklahoma City Zoo.

Great selection of animals. The bird and reptile exhibits are magnificent. Take the train for extra enjoyment!

The Tulsa Zoo is too spread out. Bring your walking shoes. Exhibit quality is poor to fair. The zoo does have a small train to carry you to the far end of the park. The zoo is located near the Tulsa airport.

There was not a lot of animal out due to the hot weather. Wouldn't go back unless there's a coupon or something.

We get a membership every year and take our granddaughter almost every month. Even on cool days there are warm indoor exhibits. She loves the train and carousel. We purchase a wristband for $4 and she rides unlimited times. There is also a large playground, camel rides in warmer months and great animal interaction including sea lion presentation. It's a nice place to just sit on a park bench and enjoy the surroundings.

Great zoo for all ages, rainforest exhibit is the best be sure not to miss it. The sea lion show is a sure bet for the kids. My kids love riding the carousel, and the train .

Nice little Zoo to visit if you are in the area, nice shaddy areas in the summer and its small enough to walk through during the colder months without any problems.

My wife and I have visited the Tulsa Zoo on several occasions and have found it to be quite clean and the animals though few are very well displayed and seem to be quite happy and look well in their enclosures.

We had a great time at the Tulsa Zoo. The weather was warm and beautiful for February so we took advantage of it and went to the zoo. We have been to the zoo several times over the past few years but we saw several new attractions that we hadn't seen. The tropical rainforest was awesome! There were sloths climbing in the trees above you're head and poisonous dart frogs in their own habitat. The jaguar was very active when we visited and it was absolutely gorgeous. The lion was roaring for about 5 minutes. It was an awesome experience to hear in person. We had a great time and plan to return in the late spring. There is a new rhino exhibit under construction. It will be a great addition to the zoo.

My daughter loved going to the zoo. The polar bears and the sea lions were her favorite. It's always a good time there and park stays clean. With spring weather almost all the animals were out.
