Pleasant walk through fragrant banks of lavender, all the while within view of lovely Mt. Hood. Paths through small perennial garden, seating available encourages lingering. Small gift shop with a variety of lavender and other garden products. Very pleasant owner and staff.

A pleasant trip, a staff that tried very hard and overall a fairly good experience. Hot chocolate and cookie was very tasty, Gold ticket and Silver Bell with Santa was a nice touch. On the other side, sections of the track were quite old and the car swayed a lot, ore than was comfortable. The whole trip lacked a lot of imagination. We went by Santa's house that was beautifully decorated and thought it would have been nice to have Mrs. Claus out waving to the train as we went by. The North Pole was simply a building sparsely decorated with lights, a few elves out waving would have been a nice touch, maybe some cutouts of Reindeer. We will do it again with our other grandchildren but will keep our expectations much lower

I stopped while driving the loop around the Hood River area. The gardens were beautiful. The shop offered several home made lavender products. The owner was friendly and helpful. A nice addition to my drive. A great way to support locally owned businesses.

The views and surroundings were gorgeous. Very interesting how the plants are harvested and processed.

This lavender farm on the "Fruit Loop" was so wonderful. It was really the highlight, in addition to the Alpaca farm, for us. We bought all sorts of lavender products and felt immediate relaxation. The owner was a delight and the lavender stunning. We would like to come back in summer when the lavender is in full bloom. Thank you!

This is a great place to visit. There are so many lavender products available as well as pears for sale. Just walking around the grounds is a treat with a view of Mt Adams to the north and Mt Hood to the south. The staff there was also very nice. I would love to be there when the lavender is in bloom -- maybe next year on a drive through the "Fruit Loop" I did get some Bartlett pears at a great price.

Enjoyed our visit at the Hood River Lavender Farm in Odell, Or. The grounds are a sea of purple and lavender, with a great walk through garden of heritage wildflowers like Hollyhocks and black eyed Susan's. There were cuttings available for a $5 fee, as well as local craft booths and food. Great visit and a beautiful view of Mt. Hood.

I didn't know there were so many kinds of lavender. Some don't smell as good as others, and I definitely liked some more than others. We got the massage oil and it had enough sent and went on smooth. I would recommend the massage oil and the essential oil. It was fun to take scissors and cut your own bouquet.

We stopped at Hood River Lavender as part of our tour through the fruit loop. Besides learning that there are HUNDREDS of types of lavender (had no idea) I got to enjoy walking through the fields, the views of Mt. Hood and shopping the lavender purchases in the cute little shop. They have fields to pick lavender, which we didn't (I wasn't sure what I would do with it), but we did buy some soap and lotion from the store, and take photographs of the lavender and the views. Obviously be careful if you have a beer allergy (so many among the lavender, though they seem to be harmless). Employees/owners have amazing knowledge about their fields and their product, which enhanced the experience. Also enjoyed the various other flowers and butterflies found within it. Great stop on the tour.

We were there the day before their festival as various vendors were setting up. There location is beautiful and you can see both Mt. Adams and Mt. Hood from their gardens. And their gardens are amazing - in full bloom when we were there. My wife picked up a few items from the small gift shop in the middle of it all. A pleasant stop.

Although it is a small lavender field it was very beautiful and relaxing. You can cut your own fresh lavender for about $5 a bunch. Owner was lovely and joyful. Nice side trip off the main road. Great natural views and even a spot to sit and just enjoy the fields for a bit.

Stopped in here while driving down the "fruit loop"! So glad we did! The lavender is in full bloom, the aroma is absolutely intoxicating! The employees were charming and helpful, and our car still smells amazing from the "bunch" we cut ourselves! We spent well over a hour here just smelling, running through their sprinkler, and taking pictures posing with their beautiful flowers!
