Went their for a concert and had to bring my own seating, due to over packed, First come First serve, which I didn't know that so the concert was a waste of my time, parking is again packed and have to walk a ways, unless you are disabled. Better luck next time.

You might catch a free concert in the park during summer. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. Nice area to take a stroll and enjoy a sunny afternoon.

Every seat is good there and good parking. Would recommend music there anytime. Just the right size for a nice close up concert. Easy and good accoustics.

My wife and I go here frequently to walk our pooch. The place is great. The rangers are friendly and they keep the restrooms clean. No Reno bums here, just the local folk having a good time. The dog trails are not the best, but the owners generally pick up after their pooches and keep it clean. Dogs on leash only, as there are horses walking around with their owners.

I hit this trail, along with several others, while in Reno. This one did not disappoint either. Great scenes and easy walk. A few more hills than others....but still very doable.

We've seen numerous events here. Most are free (with low-pressure requests for donations to the artists or optional-purchase CD sales at the end). Some of the performers went on to become extremely well-known. The worst we saw (a post-middle-age guy singing his 1970's early-middle-age-crisis love songs) was surprisingly good... even though we smiled a good bit. It's a relatively small rectangular room, so be sure and get there early as it's very difficult to see in the back. The folding chair seating isn't particularly comfortable, but most regulars bring their own cushions. During intermission, somebody supplies cookies. In the winter, there's hot apple cider, hot tea, and hot chocolate - it's either free or very inexpensive.Overall, I recommend this place - with the caveat that you're probably not going to recognize the artist in advance but that you'll probably

I was brought to this park by Kaia Fit Sierra. Thanks to them I've found a great place to exercise. I like the dirt trails and having hills to that added boost to a workout. I took my Mom this week and she enjoyed the safe environment to roam around while I did my run.

This park has dirt trails (easy on the knees and back) for walking/running. It is a very pleasant place for an early morning or evening stroll.

Bartley Ranch Regional Park in Reno is an excellent park. Its great for both equestrian and hiking activities. Its perfect for family and group picnics and barbecues. It has some historical things to see and enjoy. The really fun thing is that they have a nice size outdoor performance theater. We have enjoyed going to the summer cowboy poetry event. That event is fun as they have a barbecue dinner before, drinks including wine, etc. during the event. Its a stellar park in Reno.We have visited often - with most recent visit being May 2014 on a gorgeous spring sunny day - perfect for hiking and a picnic.

I enjoy Bartley Ranch and the adjoining Anderson Park year round. Great place to walk or run. Many with their dog like myself. The old barn buildings by the visitors center have been brought in from around the area along with farm/ranching equipment to show of times pass.

We made our first visit to the park and really enjoyed the hike. There is much more to see and do there and we will definitely visit again, soon.

Sadly in the past year I have been to two memorial services here. It's a very loving and peacfull place. Both venues have kitchen set ups and a welcoming staff

Bartley Ranch is a great historical site tucked away in Reno. The old buildings are fascinating and the park site is well groomed. The. Park is near the large ranch homes which are worth driving by to see. The park offers events throughout the year and is always fun.

Great spot for individual or group picnics. Nice facilities, especially for groups. Covered areas for picnicking. Easy parking

I recently discovered the many walking/hiking trails available at the ranch and spent a few hours exploring each one. After driving through a wooden one lane covered bridge to enter the ranch, parking was easy to find and plentiful on this weekday morning. The trailheads were prominent and each was marked with a post explaining distance and difficulty. They are easy to follow and offer varied terrain . The Ranch Loop trail is interesting because at various spots old ranch equipment is on display and placards are present to explain the usage of each. The Anderson trail takes you across the road to loop Anderson Park. The Flume and Quail trails are shorter but still offer lots to see with hills to climb. The trails interconnect at different spots so you can choose to complete one or continue on another. During my hike I shared the trails with other hikers, dog walkers, riders on horseback and a bear (fortunately didn't see him just the evidence he left behind)!!!
