This is an easy hike to lake poway and back. Harder hike up to lake Ramona but good for a workout. Careful going to Ramona in the summer; can get hot on the way up. Take water.

This is kind of a hidden gem in that it has a basic loop hike, but also joins up with several others that intersect and are a lot longer and more of a challenge. No bikes or vehicles - dogs on leads and a really nice location to park. Many nature exhibits and info - it is tucked away, but easy to find
